It gets better past the second too. Keep reading them.
I agree. Each book gets exponentially better.
No, I think the first book was much better than this one. I thought the plot lign was stronger in the first.
I havnt read this series in a few years XD but i will always remember the frog, that thing gave me nightmares
I thought Book 1 was better. The first half of Book 2 takes place primarily in Grandpa's Study. LOTS of exposition and plot discussion. Not much action. But it DOES pick up in the second half, so it's by no means a bad book. Just a slow starter. Still love it, just not quite as much as the first one.
I loved the first book . This book seemed to be all over and realy slow it took me forever to read .
I liked the second book the least out of all of them. It's good, but the rest are a lot better. I agree, with Maxy, though, every book become exponentially better. Once I read the fifth, I stopped rereading the first and second books because compared to the last three, they're bad. The first two are still good books, though.

Keep reading!! I'm on the 4th one, and I am almost done. They get better as you learn more of the story...
oh it gets better, i was so amazed that Navarog's acting skills are so awesome, he can actually blush on demand.
I had to re-read the 1-3 because I stopped a long time ago to start a different book. I don't know why I stopped reading! They get SO MUCH better!
Have you read the Stravaganza series AgCl? I have a quiz for the books if you have. If you haven't read them, I highly recommend them.
I promise they will be one of the best series you will EVER read! There is also a website to look at if you want a sneek peak..Do you want it?
Your welcome. The websites are www.Stravaganza.co.uk & www.maryhoffman.co.uk. They are great websites. There are even some games etc.
The fourth one is definitely my favorite out of the series. Good luck, airbender Victoria.
I have to say so far the first one is better. I have only read the first two. The second seems to be lacking in a lot of places in comparison.
