This is my opinion on the whole Seth situation. He is a teenager. He was rejected by his own pure blood mother and i am sure he was rejected by others before he was apollyon. Give the guy a break. Lucian played to his emotions. He is like a lost kid. Don't forget he has human qualities too. Alex grew up loved, he didn't. Just remember that. Not adding what he did is right but he built up this tough guy act but i am sure he just wanted to be accepted and loved. I guess lucian gave him a bit of that. I am team Seth even now. I cant forgdt how aiden treated alex. He hurt her no matter how he looked at it. Thsts jus my two cents

Wow Emily. I like your take on it. I never liked Seth. But if he redeems himself by the end, cool. I just don't want him ending up with Alex. Aiden may have messed up but he's suffered enough. I want him to finally be happy. Em, you gotta read Hopeless like pronto! I read it one day. Fan-fucking-tastic!!!!!! :)
I don't want Alex to be with Seth either. She never gave him s fair chance or took the time to get to know him anyway. She doesn't deserve him anymore and she deserves Aiden and Aiden deserves to be with Alex. Afterall, they've been through hell to be together.

She thought it was better to switch up perspectives going from Deity to Apollyon. It helps to understand the characters better. Elixir should be read before Apollyon.

Yes, you should read Elixir before Apollyon.

Yes he does. He thinks he's doing it in her best interests. Good people do bad things sometimes. Alex was already freaked out about Awakening, so he didn't think she needed to know that. Yes, he does. It started out because Apollyon - Apollo, also that he's the Sun God, alwasy repped as the God that watched out for mankind.
9. Deanna asks How hard was it to write Elixir knowing it would be so heartbreaking?
She doesn't get as affected by the book because she's writing them, so it doesn't bother her that much. She was going for emotional for the readers.
10. Stephanie Zhang asks Do you have any plans for a spin-off of the Covenant Series? AND In Deity, Hades mentioned to Artemis that he didn't care that Alex was the heir to the "bloody throne". Does this mean her becoming the Apollyon? Or is it something else we will learn about later? Potential for a spin-off if she or the publisher wants it. He was just saying that he didn't care what she was other than a threat. She was just commenting on how good-looking he is.

ahh i haven't been on here in ages and we still are in the middle of the epic war between the sethists and Aidenites!! things haven't changed!!! Aiden is perfect for Alex, Seth has joined dark side and cannot even be considered good enough for such a kick ass heroine!!!
If by "dark side" you mean "the side that is in the dark due to a lack of information" than yes he has, but Seth is not evil. I will back him up 100% :P
Alex is too self-absorbed and Aiden-obsessed to deserve Seth. But BOOM! Proof from the author that Seth isn't as bad and heartless as you guys make him out to be.

y'all did not tell me that Hopeless is so despressing. I'm 90% through. I should have known from the title but you guys didn't warn me. The plot and story is amazing and wonderful and all but...I'm getting so drepressed. The mood of the whole book sucks. :(Anyway, that was a recap of the live chat. That's why it was told in third person.
Yes! Hopeless is beyond depressing, but one of my favorite reads ever! I read it in one day, could not put it down!!!! Sooooooo good!!

You must read her other series then....Slammed. I read those right after Hopeless. Holy hell...they were just as amazing! I read them in a day each. They were unputdownable!! :)
Yeah, PoR is definitely my fave!! I love both but I loved reading a whole book in Will's pov! He's definitely my favorite fictional boyfriend...along with Holder and Aiden!! He was just amazing..and the slams were damn emotional and beautiful!!! Can't wait for This Girl!!

For number five on your list, I thought about the song Corner of Your Heart by Ingrid Michaelson. I was reading the scene before Aiden and Alex made love to each other. It was when Alex found out that Aiden had been wearing the guitar pick she'd given to him for his b-day the whole time.

I agree. It's pretty obvious who has Alex's heart. I don't like how Seth's using Alex to fulfill his Apollyon ambitions.
