Nelson Gibson | 4 comments The University of Michigan recently announced they will be adding 7 classes to their free online courses and there was one that I thought was particularly relevant to the S&L community: Fantasy and Science Fiction: The Human Mind, Our Modern World. There's no college credit or anything like that, but it could be interesting.

For more information you can goto the following article from the Detroit News. Or sign up on a href="http://bit.ly/HVNfRp">Coursera directly.

One other thing of note, OSU alum/fans cannot take the class. :)

P.S. Congrats Tom and Veronica on the video show. When will the dragon eat a guest?

Speaking from experience, Rabkin (the prof "teaching" the course) is pretty awesome. Scott Page, who is teaching the "Model Thinking" course, is really great as well. And he looks a lot like Tobias Funke, for any Arrested Development fans: http://www.santafe.edu/about/people/p...
