Brenna Nichols Just re-read the books for the umpteenth time and saw things I hadn't seen in them before. I still love the first Anne of Green Gables the best. I actually couldn't read Anne of Ingleside now, after all that ambition to get her B.A., teach and she just turns into a baby machine really disappoints me now that I'm older.

Martina el primero lo ame pero el de la isla me encanto porque es donde mas muestran la relación de anne y gilbert

Hannah I love Anne of Windy Poplars and Rilla of Ingleside the best.

Nayeli Hi, maybe a little late, but I could say that Anne of Green Gables is the perfect balance of laughter, tears and empathy as it is the mirror of the childhood that many people can understand. Then, Anne of the Island shows us how Anne faces a new world in which she discovers her place in the world and who she wants to be, as well as being aware of the love that surrounds her. Finally I want to rescue parts of The House of Dreams and Anne of Ingleside because although there are also dream elements of LMM, we can distinguish the moments of maturity of Anne and Gilbert like the birth and death of Joy or the problems of monotony and communication with Gilbert that they spoke in the end. The only thing I know for sure is that my least favorite book is The Rainbow Valley, mostly because they weren't the history of Anne, if that sounds logical.
