What does Carter sound like?

I know Sadie has a British accent, but what does Carter sound like? He's moved around the world with his dad, so it's not localized. What do you think he sounds like?

I think he has an American accent cuz they once live in somewhere California, right?

His mom is English, but he was eight when she died. They did live in California, though I don't know for how long. His father calls him African-American, so I assume his father was too. I'm going to agree that he probably sounds American.

I agree with all the comments. When Carter talks, he uses american slang, so I dout he has an accent.

i would guess American, partly because it relates more to his culture, (being a Lakers fan and all) and in the second book he mentions that Sadie's accent was starting to sound more American from being around the other kids.

I imagine him having an American accent, or Canadian, they're I think the same thing.

They're not quite. Canadians say a few things slightly differently than Americans. I think he did hav an American accent.
