Eugenie, Seth won't die. Jen has said numerous times she doesn't believe in killing off any of the main love triangle characters. That rules Seth out.
I am pretty certain Lucian will die... But then I don't think that would be sad for a lot of people so I am predicting the death of someone else... deacon or Luke maybe... Or Markus

WORST-ENDING-EVER. I was so excited about this book but now, I wish I never read it. Seth was my favorite character and he totally got screwed over. But I still love the rest of the series. I'd read it again and skip the last book

(view spoiler)[I really loved Seth too and I hated that he didn't have a happy ending, or an afterlife either! I don't hate the ending, but I wish Seth didn't get such a huge punishment for what he did. Though I'm glad he redeemed himself and made such a big sacrifice. (hide spoiler)]

Just finished it & I loved it. Granted I would have wanted Seth to have a HEA too but I'm glad he didn't die. I'm so sad to see the series end.

I loved the ending! While Seth did not get his HEA I am not sure how he could in this story. Not everything was wrapped up perfectly but if Jennifer decided to do a spin off in the future we could see more HEA. She has not ruled it out.

I agree. I think it would have been quite unrealistic if everyone got their HEA. Hope she does a spin-off!

And it looks like the spin off was just made official. Coming 2015 and it will be Seth's story. Kayleigh Gore has more info!!!!!

I was so happy with the ending of Sentinel! I hadn't expected it to end the way that it did, but I thought it was great! I'm also super excited to read Seth's book in the Titan series. I'm going to miss Alex and Aiden though, they were my absolute favorites.

My name is Laura, and, I am a HUGE HUGE fan of the Covenant Series. OMG. I think that this is seriously the BEST series I have EVER EVER encountered! I actually just came across it last week. I am SO SO very glad for GR because I have been thinking about the books for DAYS and am REALLY confused about some things, and would like to discuss them.

*First..there might be some spoilers here..*

Ok. The ending. I actually stopped reading when I came across this, and have had a hard time figuring it out. So Alex and Aiden are now demigods. They drank something and just went to sleep, and wound up in the Underworld. They weren't killed and didn't die die. Since they're demigods, they can do anything. They look the same, do the same things, have the same bodies, eat, walk and talk. The ONLY thing that's different is that they live in both places, and they'll live forever. I almost wanted them to still be mortal, and kinda still do, but, not much has changed with them except what I have mentioned, so, they kinda are still mortalish. Saying that they've "died" is very misleading.

Seth. I have always loved loved Seth, but, I also love Aiden. It really pained me when I found out what he did in the end. But..I am SO incredibly confused. He said that he would take the place of Aiden with Hades, so that Aiden could be with Alex. What does that mean? When? Now? When it's time for Seth to naturally die? Does Seth give up his soul, as Aiden would have, and work for Hades in the Underworld? Or, does Seth give Hades his soul, work for Hades on earth, and then continue to work for him when he dies? Does he become immortal now and go to work now for Hades in the Underworld, and stay there forever? Is he still mortal/half-blood? I am so confused, I'm getting a headache.

Also, can Alex and Aiden still visit, and be with, Seth? I am assuming that Seth and Alex still have a bond, which I love, and I am hoping that this will remain the same.

When Seth was holding Alex, when she was "dying", why was he SO upset? Why were they both SO upset? Am I not seeing something? OMG OMG that broke, and breaks, my heart. I think it was bc of his love for her, and her love, and, she was so scared of being alone. And bc it was supposed to be him? As the first Appolyon? Those reasons are enough and are so beautiful, and SO sad, but, I just didn't know if there was another reason. Did they not know they'd see each other again??

I am SO glad Seth truly is a good person. It pained me to see him as a puppet and yearning for comfort. I always knew he was a good person, but, needed help finding his true self. I am also so glad of the continuation of Seth, and, will keep my fingers crossed to see more of everyone else in the future as well!

FINALLY got to read this book. FINALLY.

I've always been team Seth, and he totally proved himself worthy of why!!! While I would have enjoyed an HEA for him, I'm completely satisfied with his sacrifice for Alex.

Sad the series is over. Perhaps when I have time I'll start over again.

You guys I just finished this series and I'm in full depression mode right now!! I finished this entire series in 1 week and I don't think I can go on a day without my favorites, Alex and Aiden! I need and want more!! I wish there was another book about the continuation of Aiden and Alex as demigods, and possibly being able to witness how everyone reacts when they see them come back to the mortal world for 6 months! I just want to know!!

That ending was beautiful, made me cry and smile. I just loved every single thing about this series and I am now in full denial mode about it ending.

You do know that J.L.A has written another series in that world following Seth? Don’t know if it is any interest to you since Seth and Josephine are the protagonists, but there still are some yummy toe curling Aiden and Alex moments in them 😊
