THE BEGINNINGS OF UNDERSTANDING OF THE COMPLEXITIES OF CULTURAL COMPLEX FRIENDSHIPS & CULTURES' "POLITENESS/COURTESY" Saudi's were misunderstood during some crucial peace summits during this very crucial period,..Where would I begin? Great insight from as far back as Woodrow Wilson & Franklin Delano Roosevelt (President FDR & the New Deal...post WW II reconstruction)...Lots of epiphenies (sp?) into crosscultural peace negotiations...got to hand it to Jimmy Carter & Nixon & Henry Kissinger! (this is dated info...from up through & including the late 1980's, for example, the hostage crisis dealt with by Jimmy Carter)......
