Dancing Rain heard something and looked to where the sound was coming. She nodded approvingly that Fang was drinking before resting her head again to sleep... it had been a long day.

"She flew away from here. I don't know... I tried calling after her, but she didn't hear me." Dancing Rain said. "Don't worry about her quite yet... I'll do it for you. You need to worry about getting better."
Dancing Rain rested her head and closed her eyes, but didn't sleep. Too much excitement in the day made her both sleepy, but restless.
Dancing Rain watched Fang shift. "Can I get you anything?"
Dancing Rain nodded. "I'll look for Shard again..." She got up and went to the top of the waterfall, scanning the sky.
Shard was exhausted. She had been flying for hours. It looked like the human had stopped following her, though!
Dancing Rain didn't see anything, and she lied down in defeat. She'd stay here for an hour, then go back down to check on Fang...
Dancing Rain started to drift off. Such a long day... She snapped awake suddenly to see the sun low in the sky. That had definitely been longer than an hour... She went back to Fang and lay down, making sure that he wouldn't hear or see her.
"No... She must have flown far. I may chase after her tomorrow." Dancing Rain emerged from the bushes.
"I'm sorry..." She muttered. She turned around after grabbing the bowl to get him more water.
Dancing Rain pursed her lips. She turned and started running without a second thought. She had to have run for hours, and she was on the outskirts of the forest, and she collapsed, falling asleep.
Fang could smell Dancing Rain getting further away, but he didn't have the energy to call her back.
After a few hours of rest, Dancing Rain got back up and kept running, never leaving the forest. She didn't trust the outside... but she couldn't tell if Shard had stayed in it. So, taking a deep breath, she stepped out and followed a river.
Dancing Rain saw... She saw Shard! She ran back into the forest, breathing a sigh of relief.
"Shard!" She called.
"Shard!" She called.
"I'm over here! Oh, I'm so glad I saw you! Your brother is hurt, and he keeps asking for you... So, I came to look for you." Dancing Rain ran up to Shard.
"I really don't know.. that human, he did something. But the human is dead... and Fang is healing. Quite nicely, I think. But then again, I'm no healer."
"Um.. by the river, in a meadow." Dancing Rain started running after Shard.
Shard tore through the grass. She was so stupid! She should have stayed behind to make sure that Fang was okay. Instead, he was hurt and who knows if he would get better.
Dancing Rain ran after her for hours, until they reached the meadow.
"Found her."
"Found her."
Fang looked up wearily. His eyes brightened as he saw Shard though. "Shard..." he wheezed.
Shard rushed over to him, nuzzling him. "Fang, oh Fang I'm so sorry. I should have stayed. Are you okay?"
Shard rushed over to him, nuzzling him. "Fang, oh Fang I'm so sorry. I should have stayed. Are you okay?"
Dancing Rain walked off to give them some privacy.
Shard settled down next to Fang, licking his forehead worriedly. "Fang, are you going to be okay?"
Dancing Rain refilled the bowl and brought it back before going to the top of the waterfall. After all of the running she was exhausted. She fell asleep.
Fang nodded his head tiredly. He wanted to fall asleep. Shard quickly placed her head down, and fell asleep fast.
The rising sun woke Dancing Rain up. She blinked out the sunlight and went down to the cave. She checked on the herd and drank some water. After that, she went to check on Fang and Shard.
Shard was sleeping soundly up until she heard some noise. Sleepily she raised her head. "Dancing Rain?" she muttered sleepily.
"Sorry... I didn't realize that you were still asleep... I'll go."
Shard shook her head. "It's okay." she muttered. She got up slowly, so as not to disturb Fang, who was sleeping peacefully beside her.
Dancing Rain watched Shard get up and retreated to the stream.
"A lot better, now that you're here." Dancing Rain nodded.
"I want to say something to make you feel better, but I've never been good with words... And, anyway... I wouldn't blame you. I'm the one that held him up..."
"I spent more time arguing with him then I should have. If I hadn't held him up, he wouldn't have met with the man, and everything would be fine..."
Shard shook her head. "Fang would have found him whether or not you two had argued. That's just the way he is."
