Edward walked past Corey, looking at him coldly for a brief second before walking into the hotel.

corey shook his head. what was that about? whatever, he decided, walking towards where he was staying with his aunt.

michelle took the stairs two at a time, hoping she wouldnt trip again, but that was a risk she was going to have to be willing to take.

[Just Plain Ray, Cause it's nine in the afternoon...]

Edward walked up the stairs past Michelle and walked into his room.

Rayana walked out of the room, wodnering where Michelle was.

[Michelle, Where's your sense of adventure?]

michelle got to the top of the stairs, shaking her head at herself. maybe she really didnt want to know. haha, yeah right, she so wanted to know. she saw rayana and waved. "hi, ray."

"Hey...where were you?" she asked nervously

she shrugged. "breakfast." if you could even call it that. its not like she had actually gotten to the breakfast part.

Rayana raised an eyebrow in skeptiscism but didn't say anything.
"Speaking of breakfast, I'm going to grab some myself...later" she said and ran down the steps. She headed outside and went to go find a place to eat.

[Michelle, Where's your sense of adventure?]

"dont get lost," she called after her before heading inside the room. she stared out the window again with unseeing eyes.

Rayana chuckled softly as she heard Michelle's last comment and looked around. She found a good-sized diner and went there. She got a table for one and sat down.

"go tend table 5," someone told corey. he rolled his eyes and went over to the table with a menu in hand for the girl sitting there. "well, yet another yank in the country." he siad, supressing a laugh. "my name's corey; what can i get you to drink?"

Rayana rolled her eyes and smiled,
"Anything with caffeine" she said. She really wasn't supposed to have anything with caffeine...or anything that would make her hyper...but she was feeling very tired this morning and needed a boost.

"coffee, soda....?"

"Coffee" she said quickly

"Black...with 5 sugars" she murmured and blushed ever so slightly.

he laughed. "yeah, its that early in the morning again. ill be right back with that." he said, setting the menu on her table and heading back to the kitchen.

"Thanks" he said quietly and flipped through the menu. Nothign that she would be able to force down her throat.

he soon came back with her coffee. "watch it, its really hot." he said, waving his hand in the air. he had spilled a bit on himself and it burned his skin.

michelle sighed and went to sit on the bed. she suddenly wished she had a book or something to read.

Rayana nodded,
"Thanks" she murmured and traced her finger around the rim of the cup, leaning her chin on her hand.

"have you decided yet?" he asked, nodding as well.

Rayana sighed and closed the menu,
"I won't get anything I guess..." sh emurmured, handing him the menu.

he narrowed his eyes in confusion. "uh, okay then. not feeling good?"

"I'm not a morning person" she joked, and smiled slightly

Rayana grinned, and looked at the coffee.

"well, okay then." he said, kinda awkwardly. "you sure youre not going to get anything?"

She nodded.

he shrugged. "okay then," he said, walking off with the unused menu in hand.

Rayana took a sip of the coffee and looked around.

after about ten minutes, corey came back again. "how's the coffee?"

"The check, please" she said and reached into her pocket for some money. She cursed under her breath when she realized she didn't have any. She looked aorund to make sure no one was looking, then materialized some Dutch money into her hand.

corey left and came back with the check in his hand. "you have a good day, miss."

"Thanks" she murmured and paid for her coffee. She stood up and walked out of the diner.

Rayana began walking around, getting a bearing on her surroundings.

Rayana sat on a bench and took out her sketchpad. she took out a pencil and began drawing.

Edward heard someone singing. Michelle. He sighed and leaned against the door of his room.

she tried to remember the song better, so she paused momentarily. but shen she remembered it and started singing again.

Edward sat on the floor and leaned his head back on the door, listening to Michelle sing.

Rayana finished up her drawing and looked at it. It was a good approximation of the scenery in front of her.
