"I'll wait for you outside" he murmured to Michelle before walking outside.

she didnt know how to answer that. "i dunno," she said again.
"how about we catch up later?" he asked, glancing over his shoulder at the kitchen in back.
she smiled. "sure."
he wrote his cell number on a napkin and gave it to her. "ill talk to you later."
she nodded. "okay, bye then." he left, so michelle walked out of the restaurant to look for edward.

Edward was leaning on the wall by the door, hands in his pockets. He was staring straight ahead, his face like a carved block of stone.

she spotted him easily, and walked right up to him. "what was that about?" she demanded, arms crossed in front of her.

Edward pressed his lips together, staring at the ground as if he were trying to drill a hole through it with his eyes.

Edward didn't answer. He crossed his arms across his chest, and didn't look up at her.

Edward sighed and began walking away, ignoring Michelle's question.

Edward stopped in the middle of the forest. He punched a nearby tree, causing it to fall down. He sat on the tree stump and put hs face in his hands.
"Jealous fool..." Edward muttered to himself

corey came back out of the restaurant, as his shift was over with the breakfast crowd. he had noticed that michelle was still outside, looking upset, and walked over to her. "hey, whats up?"
she looked up at him, nearly surprised. "oh, nothing, just kinda lost."

Edward sighed. He shouldn't have been so mean to Michelle...but what's done is done.

Edward stood up and began walking back to where he ahd left Mimi. She probably didn't know how to get back to the hotel.

she shrugged, feeling kinda awkward. "um, im not exactly sure. i think it was a hotel kinda near here."

Edward took his time getting back, trying to cool off after his rampage.

she said the name of the hotel and corey laughed. "near here? not so much. but come on, its withing walking distance." and with that he started walking down the street.
michelle followed, trying not to fall back and get even more lost. she was kind of uncomfortable, though.

Edward froze when he saw Michelle with Corey. He growled quietly and began walking in the other direction.

Edward turned on his heel and began following Corey and Michelle silently, listening mostly to Corey's thoughts.

she shrugged. "well, when you know youre moving again in a year, you tend to plan ahead."

"well, here we are." he said, holding the door open for her. "hopefully you wont get lost again."
michelle laughed. "hopefully." and then she disappeared inside.
