((okay, so ray goes off into the woofs by herself(is debating whether I should make her cry...) and then she magically gets changed into a cat ^^ she comes back and everyone is like "wth?" and then ray realizes that she can't change back..so the four go running around the woods trying to find a cure, and then i have one (which i will NOT tell you))

She looked towards the forest and raised an eyebrow, hearing something, "Be right back," she said then ran off towards the sound.

Rayana came upon a shallow pool, from which a soft blue glow was radiating from. She raised an eyebrow, then froze where she was standing.

mimi sighed and leaned her forehead on her knees, closing her eyes in fatigue.

Rayana came back ten minutes later, but she was not quite the same. In her place, was a white cat with a small tuft of blonde hair that fell over her large brown eyes. She mewed quietly and padded over to the other three.

Edward's eyes widened and he clamped a hand over his mouth to keep from cursing.

michelle looked up. "was that a cat i heard?"

Edward nodded slowly.

she narrowed her eyes and glanced around. "okay..."

"YEah, I heard the cat too.." Rayana mewed, her ears folding down for a second.
Edward shot her an incredulous look.

Edward looked at the cat, then back at Mimi, hoping that would explain it.
"I'm right here.." Rayana said, tilting her head to the side in confusion.

michelle raised her eyebrows at ray, who appeared to be the cat.
james was a few feet off and couldnt hear the exact exchange. "did that cat just speak?"

"What cat?" Rayana asked and looked over her shoulder. She froze and saw a tail swishing side to side, then looked back and at her hands, which were now small paws. She looked back up at the other three, silent.

"holy hell," michelle muttered under her breath.
"ray?" james asked, tilting his head to the side.

Rayana folded her ears back against her skull and let out a tiny mew, "This is bad...this is really bad..."

Edward raised an eyebrow, "How exactly did that happen?"

"I don't quite know..."

"I remember a pool..." she said, then padded back from where she came. Edward looked at her, then followed.

Rayana froze at an empty space in the ground, blinking, "It was here...it was here a few seconds ago," she said, panic evident in her tone.

michelle and james followed. "why am i not surprised," michelle murmured.

Rayana blinked a few times, before starting to scamper around in circles in panic.
"Ray..." Edward said quietly, looking at her. No reply.
"Ray," he said, his voice a bit louder.
No reply.
"Godammit, Ray," he growled and snatched her in-between his hands. Rayana let out a tiny yowl, then looked at him with wide eyes.

"calm down, ray," james murmured.

"I will not calm down," she snapped, her voice high-pitched, "I'm a frickin' cat!"

"Hmmm, it gives you a reason to be smug now," Edward murmured, smirking slightly. She glared and nipped at his hand, with no effect.

"come on, seriously," james said, frowning.

"Here, you take care of her," Edward said and tossed Ray over to James. Rayana let out another high-pitched yowl, and landed on James' shoulder. She slipped and dug her claws into his shoulder to keep from falling.

james winced. "easy, ray," he muttered, extracting her claws from his shoulder and holding her in the crook of his arm.

Rayana pouted and curled up into a ball.

he scratched her behind the ears. "its gonna be okay," he murmured.

michelle bit her lip. "okay, so now what?"

"We need to find a cure, I guess?" Edward said, raising an eyebrow.

Rayana didn't reply.

she nodded. "what is she just tried... changing back?"

Rayana sighed, "I can try, but.." she said and raised her head a bit. She closed her eyes for a moment, then sighed and curled back into a ball, "See? Didn't work..."
