she closed her eyes in defeat. "fine, fine," she said, trying to imagine waht she wanted accomplished, knowing that it most likely wasnt going to work. the wind shifted a little, but thats all that happened.

"Hmm..." Rayana said and looked around. "If any of you hear me shout 'Pancakes' come running over." she said, then started running in a random direction.

Edward watched her go. "...Pancakes....?"

Rayana tripped and fell into a magical portal in the ground. Just before she fell through she screamed, "PANCAKES!"

"That way." he said and walked in her direction. He stopped and looked into the portal, a mass of swirling colors. He kneeled down beside it and dipped his finger in, his eyebrows knitting together.

"Although we are away from Oz.." she said and jumped to her feet, "I have a feeling we are still not in Jersey." She put on her black shutter glasses and looked around, "I have an odd feeling that we're in Candyland, though."

She shook her head, "Explain why there are peppermints growing on the trees..." she said and then plucked a berry from a nearby bush. She tossed it to Michelle, "Taste that; it's a Jolly Rancher."

Rayana shrugged, then sat back down. She hugged her knees and rested her chin on them, her eyes narrowed at the ground.

Rayana looked at them, then grinned, "Yeah, Mimi...keep typing." she teased
"I should say the same thing to you." a voice said from behind and a rather tall boy with reddish hair(he looked around 20) walked from behind the trees. He handed Rayana a laptop and she glanced at it, then up at the boy.
"Do I have to?" she whined.
"Yes, now type." he said firmly, prodding her with the blunt end of a lance.

"whos that?" mimi wanted to know, opening the laptop.

"My muse, Rasche." Rayana said as she opened the laptop and booted it up. Ironically, chapter twenty-four of Forever was already opened up in Microsoft Word. Rayana cast a dark look in Rasche's direction.
"I hate you." she muttered, then started typing.
"I love you too." he said and chuckled a bit.

Rayana's tongue peeked out from between her lips as she typed, under the watchful eye of Rasche, who was now seated beside her. After a few moments he snorted and she looked at him.
"What?" she asked
"Okay, that's not even remotley clear...Max can't--"
Rayana clamped her hand over his mouth, "Quiet!" she hissed, then glanced at everyone else.

mimi grinned over at ray. "i heard that." she said as she pulled up Gypsy and scrolled all the way down to where she left off.

"me, obviously, unless you see someone else talking to you, which i doubt." xenophon replied, heavily sarcastic.

Rayana bent her head as did Rasche as Rayana began whispering something in a hushed tone. Their noses barely brushed against eachother, and Rasche occasionally nodded. He then looked up at her and she looked back at him, their face both serious.
