((i was stupid but it was mostly my brother's fault and i have no idea really))
"You think?"
He gave her a harsh look. "Guess I'll have to."
"Don't even try it," she hissed.
"What do you think I'm going to do, read your mind?" He laughed.
She didn't think it was too funny and ducked out at the first opening, leaving Peter there in half-fake laughter.
"Oh?"

((aww, well i hope it feels better soon! :) ))
"I think most people would have given up, at this point."
"Do I look uncomfortable to you?"

"Do I look uncomfortable to you?"
((haha thanks))
He sighed. "That's probably true. We've been through hell."
Peter rejoined them a moment later, folding his hands on the table in silence.
"You look like you're wearing a mask."

"This definitely has Morgana written all over it. She's got a sword poised over that waitress's head and the stress is only just starting to show. I couldn't get her to talk much, but I found out enough to know where they are."
Her steady gaze turned to a glare and she turned away before she snapped at him.
Her steady gaze turned to a glare and she turned away before she snapped at him.
"Okay, where are they?"
"What?" he laughed without humor. "Isn't it true?" He stopped and leaning his hands on the back of the couch.
"What?" he laughed without humor. "Isn't it true?" He stopped and leaning his hands on the back of the couch.
"Far," he said flatly, scowling. "She's well hidden."
"You shut me out," she muttered tonelessly, sitting with her knees curled up to her chest like it would hold her together.

"Not fast enough, I'm afraid. I can't give you an exact location for certain, just flashes of how to get there."
She closed her eyes. "If I tell you the whole truth, you'll get upset and leave."
She closed her eyes. "If I tell you the whole truth, you'll get upset and leave."
"So what the hell are we supposed to do?"
"You say that so often, it sounds like you want me to," he said, his voice inbetween being upset and angry.
"You say that so often, it sounds like you want me to," he said, his voice inbetween being upset and angry.
"Maybe you can go find her yourself, Peter? Or go with Ed. You guys are faster ..."
"Well? Do you?" he demanded.
"Well? Do you?" he demanded.
"He should probably stick around and resolve his personal issues, I think."
"I don't know what I want," she said quietly, waiting for him to say something harsher.
"I don't know what I want," she said quietly, waiting for him to say something harsher.
"I'm going," James volunteered.
"That... may not be the best idea."
That earned Peter a glare.
"We've had this conversation before," she replied instead, but intended to elaborate.

"That's what she wants you to do," Ray murmured.
"I don't remember you giving me a conclusive answer."
"I don't remember you giving me a conclusive answer."
"You think I'm just going to sit here and do nothing?"
She sighed. "I know. I'm sorry, okay? It's complicated."
She sighed. "I know. I'm sorry, okay? It's complicated."
"I have to help."
Deep breath. "I mean... you've been here for ages, you know? I guess I kind of take it for granted. I was a kid when I met you, and somehow you already had feelings for me? That's a lot to take in. It's still a lot to take in. I don't understand the depth of it." She paused, biting her lip. "It doesn't... make sense to me still. I don't feel like I've changed. Just... gotten used to it. Like there was nothing to fall into. Sometimes I still feel like I hardly know you." She stopped and shook her head.

"I know that but .."
He took his hands off the couch and took a step back, listening to what she was saying. When she was done he was quiet, facing her but not really looking at her. "So it is my fault," he said quietly.

"I mean, probably. But we don't know what she wants or what she's prepared to throw at us."
"Everyone did. But I was a kid."
"Everyone did. But I was a kid."
Ray pressed her lips together and nodded, staring down at the table to refrain some saying anything else.
"At the time I had hoped that .. " he sighed and shrugged, "I didn't know what I wanted to do in the long run."

"I won't let you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. She looked out the window and bit the inside of her lip.
"You think I'm not aware of that?"
"You think I'm not aware of that?"
He took that as a challenge. "And how do you expect to do that?"
"Well I just became aware of it."
"Well I just became aware of it."
"How do you expect to leave?" she shot back and faced him, "Who is going to take you?"
"Well, yes. I didn't tell you that bit before."
"Well, yes. I didn't tell you that bit before."
"I didn't expect this to be a journey that required quick fixes and magical poofing."
"You don't seem to tell me a lot of things."
"You don't seem to tell me a lot of things."
"And what do you plan on doing when you get there? This is just a ploy to get you back to her, James."
"Oh, I haven't heard that one before."
"Oh, I haven't heard that one before."
"Yeah, and when my friends are involved, it starts working."
"Well maybe you haven't been listening."
"Well maybe you haven't been listening."
"I know, I know." She put her head in her hands, "But I just can't see how you would get out of this."
"That was sarcasm."
"That was sarcasm."
"Your fabulous planning skills? I don't know, Ray, I thought it might make you feel better?"
"Why not?"
"Why not?"
"No, it's not going to make me feel better," she muttered, her tone taking on an edge of bitterness.
"I thought I had been."
"I thought I had been."
"Well what do you honestly expect me to do?"
"Really? You thought you were completely faultless this whole time?" She finally turned back around to look at him again.
"Really? You thought you were completely faultless this whole time?" She finally turned back around to look at him again.
"Because I don't know what to do. I want to help Tom, but I don't want you to go."
"I guess I only listened to what I wanted to hear."
"I guess I only listened to what I wanted to hear."
"Well, I doubt we can make a whole family trip of it," Peter put in.
"And what do you want to hear? What are you looking for here? Because I don't think you really believe I have it."

"Because.." she paused and thought about it, "Because we can get through it, I think."
"No, trust me, it didn't."
