((happens to me all the time))
He nodded again, and they walked in silence for a while. Then, "Honestly, isn't there anything I could do to help you?"
"I'm glad of that," he said, still rummaging through the cabinets.

"I'm glad of that," he said, still rummaging through the cabinets.
"How many things would you admit that you require assistance to fix?"
"Things," he murmured vaguely, setting some packages aside for use later.

"I don't need to fix anything, really."
She picked some of them up, turning them over to see the labels. "Interesting."

"So you don't want to put an end to your potentially suicidal tendencies?" he asked, raising a skeptical eyebrow.
"What, is that not how you make cookies?"
"What, is that not how you make cookies?"
Still, he was skeptical. "Nothing at all?"
"Do you have a better list of ingredients?" he teased.
"Do you have a better list of ingredients?" he teased.
"Yes, how?"
At that response, he paused in his flour measurement to turn and face her. "Is that so?" he asked with a smile, tapping her nose with a flour-covered finger.

"That's never enough."
"If you don't want me to touch you," he teased, lightly kissing her, "Let me know."
"If you don't want me to touch you," he teased, lightly kissing her, "Let me know."
"Honestly, Edward," he said, shaking his head. "If you don't want to live like this, how do you want to live?"
"But flour is delicious."
"But flour is delicious."
"And I take it human isn't one of your ideal options?"
"You sure?" he teased, kissing her nose to get the flour off.
"You sure?" he teased, kissing her nose to get the flour off.
"Well, it exists, if that's what you mean. Up in Japan, they have those sort of resources."
"Well, fine. No flour for you, then," he said, minding his own space.

"What happened?"
"Well, you go do that, I'll just go take a nap," she said with a grin, heading to the living room.

"I decided not to use it. Still have it, though, somewhere."
"Careful, I think someone's already napping."
"Careful, I think someone's already napping."
"It's a miniature bunch of flowers. Inhale and you're human again."
"Go on to your room, then, if you need more sleep," he suggested. "I'll find you when I'm done here."

"Yeah. My friend went through with it, though. She was fine."
He laughed. "Glad you have such faith in me."
He laughed. "Glad you have such faith in me."
"And she's a human?"
Naturally, or rather, because I wanted it to happen to wake Mimi up, Ray tripped over an overturned chair. She managed to poof a pillow on the ground to avoid hitting her face too hard but the impact was still loud. Ray froze and then looked over at the couch, hoping she hadn't woken up the sleeper.

"Yeah."
That is an excellent decision. Mimi jolted awake and scanned the room. "What, what happened?" she asked, pretending she hadn't just been in a deep sleep.

"I don't think I'm ever going to use it, though," he continued, sighing.
"Hi, hi, hi," she said, still searching the room for some sort of threat. "Is there anyone I have to stab?"
"Hi, hi, hi," she said, still searching the room for some sort of threat. "Is there anyone I have to stab?"
"So what do you plan on doing with it?"
"No, it's just Ray. And James is making cookies in the kitchen," she said quickly, sitting up.
"No, it's just Ray. And James is making cookies in the kitchen," she said quickly, sitting up.
He shrugged. "I dunno. Guess just hold onto it. I was thinking about getting rid of it, but that would be rude to just destroy it."
"Is he putting raisins in the cookies?"
"Hell no."
"Then no stabbing for me."
"Thanks!"
"Don't sweat it." She turned back to Ray. "Did you fall over?"

((awwww))
"That's also rude."
"Oh. For a second there I thought the sky was falling. Weird dreams."
