He shrugged. "Can't submit you to hotel coffee; that's the worst."
"Oh, but hasn't her blood already been spilled because of you?" he taunted, tilting Mimi's neck just so that the wound reopened and started dripping blood again.
"Oh, but hasn't her blood already been spilled because of you?" he taunted, tilting Mimi's neck just so that the wound reopened and started dripping blood again.
"Agreed, but I'll pass. Let's get out of here," he said, heading for the door.
He swallowed. "No," he said in a low voice.
He swallowed. "No," he said in a low voice.
"Fine." He took the cup and downed it in a few moments. "There, now I'm ready."
"Are you so sure?"
"Are you so sure?"
James followed at a leisurely pace.
Scott inhaled again, tilting Mimi's head further so the blood was flowing more freely. "Such a waste," he murmured, as if saddened by the sight. "You know, you should have marked her when you got the chance; you wouldn't be in this mess."

"Mm, not really."
"Then how do you expect to keep her from big, bad monsters like myself?" he taunted, stepping back. He ran a finger in the trail of blood on Mimi's neck and licked the blood away. "You don't know what you're missing."

"Especially with chocolate-chips. Hey, remember when you're mom burnt those pancakes one time and I ate all of them because I didn't want her to blow my head off or something?"
"On your face, maybe."
"On your face, maybe."
He laughed. "And then you got sick afterward. Didn't so much as walk down the block for the rest of the week."
"You'll have to catch me first."
"You'll have to catch me first."
"Just a little bit. She hasn't found out about that incident, has she?"
He didn't say anything, just glared at Scott.

"I don't know. Should I remind her?"
"Just try and stop me," he whispered with the hint of a threat.

"For the love of God, please don't."
((draco should come and save the day))
"Mimi," he murmured quietly, looking at her.

He grinned. "I'll save it for the next time you piss me off, shall I?"
((hahahahahahaha how do you figure?))
"I don't know if she can hear you."
She jabbed him in the ribs with her elbow, but that only made her bleed more for the effort it took to twist around. "Pardon me for not interrupting sooner."
"Ooh, a fiery one, isn't she?"

"Hey, man, that's not fair. I don't even think I have any blackmail on you."
((like so))
All of sudden, Draco rushed out the window, wand out. "Stupefy," he yelled, and a red laser-spell thingy shot out at Scott. Bam.

"That's because I keep my offenses to myself."
((XD))
Scott lurched backwards, his grip on Mimi's shoulders loosening, and he lost his footing.
Mimi, suspended more or less in the air, scrambled backwards and hit her head on the railing before beginning to fall.
Furious, Scott ignored her and lunged at Draco instead.

"And you don't do anything stupid."
Edward grabbed Mimi into his arm's and rushed back into the apartment out of harm's way.
Draco yelped and ducked as Scott went to attack him.

Draco yelped and ducked as Scott went to attack him.
"Define stupid."
Mimi was shaking and letting off a rapid fire of swearing as she was ushered inside. Immediately, she tried to break free.
"What did you do to me?" Scott demanded, baring his fangs and shaking Draco. "Tell me."

"Anything I could use gainst you."
"Why should I tell you?" Draco asked, trying very hard to keep his voice from shaking.
"Please, Mimi, I'm trying to help you," Edward whispered frantically, keeping a grip on her.

"Not that you know of."
"Just. Tell me."
"Let me go," she insisted, still struggling, although weakly.

"Uh-oh, what does that mean?"
"It's magic," he stuttered, his grip on his wand tightening.
"Why?" Edward asked.
"It's magic," he stuttered, his grip on his wand tightening.
"Why?" Edward asked.
"You think I'll tell you now?"
"What sort of magic do you possible hold over me?"
She pushed at his chest, her hands balling up into fists. "Why don't you trust me with this?"
((they can argue if you want :P))

"You have so much black mail on me, I think you can afford to tell me one thing."
"I don't know!" Draco murmured, eyes wide.
((naturally c:))
"Because I let you go and now you're in danger," he whispered.

He laughed. "Nope."
"Liar," he whispered, hissing.
((XD))
"You left before and now you can't let me go for two seconds?" She shook her head and started wiping the blood from her neck, trying to make it less obvious, but she only made it worse. "Just trust me. I can fix this."
"Liar," he whispered, hissing.

"Aw, that's no fair."
"I really don't!"
"No, no, no," he said quickly, "What if Scott comes in here and you're standing alone again?"
"I really don't!"
"No, no, no," he said quickly, "What if Scott comes in here and you're standing alone again?"
"That's life, man."
"You can toss magic at me like it's no object, and you don't know?"
"He's occupied." She brought both of her recently bloodied hands up to frame his face, which was probably a terrible idea. "I'm going to end this, okay? I won't be standing here, vulnerable. He took my blood; this is my fight now. Okay?" She searched his eyes, pleading with him to understand.

"Whatever, I'll find something."
"I don't know how it works! It's an ancient art."
He let go of her when he saw the blood and covered his nose and mouth with his hand, eyes wide. "Okay," he whispered shakily.

"Good luck."
"Why don't you study it better than that?" he hissed.
She kissed his forehead lightly and then went back to the window, taking a pencil from the desk as she went. "You are a pathetic fighter," she told both the figures outside to get their attention.
Scott looked up and hissed again, in front of her again in the next instant. "You've come back to me. I knew your blood would agree."
"Well, I don't." And she staked him with a pencil.

Edward and Draco's eyes widened as they watched her stake Scott, and the former even winced a little.

"Who would I tell if I hadn't told you?"
((XD))
In the instant before he was immobilized, Scott tried to bite her another time, but Mimi twisted the pencil, and then he fell backwards onto the ground.

Edward rushed to the window to watch the scene unfolding, his fingers gripping the edge of the window sill.

"No one, exactly."
Her blood lurched for a second as he fell, which scared her the most, and she put a hand to her stomach as if to keep it there.

"How is that underestimating you?"
She elbowed him, which only hurt more, and threw a little fire ball down after Scott to make sure he stayed dead and unbreathing.

"You don't think I'll be able to find any dirt on you."
"You staked him," Edward said bluntly, still unable to believe it, "With a pencil."

"Not anything worthy of blackmail, really."
She giggled a little, turning away from the window. "Yeah, I think I just did." Shock aside, she was getting a little hysterical.

"No problem. Now, pancakes?"
She nodded and tried to shut the window, but her hands were shaking too much. "Inappropriate question time," she announced, giving up on the window and going back to the couch.

"Yes, pancakes," he said and located a breakfast place a block down.
Draco opened the window to get inside and then shut it again. He was kind of dazed as well.
"What?" Edward murmured.

"What?" Edward murmured.
"Ah, normalcy. Just a place that serves breakfast. Good change of pace."
She looked down and pointed to the steadily bleeding gash that was the side of her neck.

"I think so, too," he said, sitting down.
"Ah, yes, I can certainly try. Got a first aid kit on you?"
