((i have to go D: i might be back soon, or way later. not sure -waves-))
"I don't want her to get hurt."
"Right," Ray said and glanced at Draco.
"I don't want her to get hurt."
"Right," Ray said and glanced at Draco.
((aww, byeas!))
"Of course not. But that's life."
Alex tried the door and then knocked on it a few times. ((i forgot about him)) "Ray?" He called, still tapping, "Why is there a trail of blood outside your door?"
Mimi closed her eyes and leaned against the sink for a few moments before taking in the damage. Without reacting, she went to work cleaning the blood away.

"No, no, it doesn't have to be."
Ray jogged over to the door and opened it. "Oh, hi Alex. Um, we had an accident on our way back here," she said quickly, glancing back in the direction of the bathroom.
Ray jogged over to the door and opened it. "Oh, hi Alex. Um, we had an accident on our way back here," she said quickly, glancing back in the direction of the bathroom.
"Then what?"
He looked around as he walked into the house. "Some accident," he murmured, on the brink of understanding. "She pissed?" he asked, looking towards the bathroom as well.

"Maybe I shouldn't have come back," he decided, disregarding Peter's comment. He slid to the floor and pulled his knees up.
"We're both kind of stressed right now. I should probably clean that up," she said, poofing a mop into her hands and going to clean the mess in the doorway.
"We're both kind of stressed right now. I should probably clean that up," she said, poofing a mop into her hands and going to clean the mess in the doorway.
"You tell her that and see how fast she slaps you."
"What happened?" he asked, silently taking the mop from her and going to work at it himself.
"What happened?" he asked, silently taking the mop from her and going to work at it himself.
"She doesn't need me...none of them do."
"Um, well, Ed took us to this vampire bar," she sighed, leaning against the door frame and staring at the floor, "And everything was fine until we ran into his friends."
"Um, well, Ed took us to this vampire bar," she sighed, leaning against the door frame and staring at the floor, "And everything was fine until we ran into his friends."
He sighed and sat down next to him. "Haven't you been through that before?"
Alex raised his eyebrows. "A vampire bar?"
Alex raised his eyebrows. "A vampire bar?"
((oh dear, i didn't reply for Tom.))
Tom rolled up to a seemingly abandoned gas station and killed the engine. "You fill the car up, and I'll be right back," he said, stepping out of the car.
"Through what?"
"It's one of those gothic scenes that fetishists go to and such. Real vampires go there too, it seems."

((you did not :P))
"You got it," James replied, stepping out of the car.
"The leaving for the sake of your friends thing?"
"Weird. Then what happened?"
"You got it," James replied, stepping out of the car.
"The leaving for the sake of your friends thing?"
"Weird. Then what happened?"
Tom nodded and then headed for the store located nearby. At the same time, without Tom noticing, Morgana started approaching James. She was dressed in more modern clothing with large sunglasses covering her eyes and a smoldering cigarette hanging off her lips. She stopped beside the car and leaned her arm on the top of it, looking over at James.
"Hello James," she murmured, a wide smile forming on her lips.
Edward sighed in frustration. "That was unsuccesful."
"Um, we were walking back and then Edward thought he heard something. So he went off with this other vampire dude, Peter...Mimi and I were walking back here and we were attacked."
James looked up and smiled a little, then did a double take. "Just the lady I was hoping to run into," he said a little absently, although without a trace of sarcasm.
"So why try again?"
"You're kidding."
"So why try again?"
"You're kidding."
"What brings you so far from friends?" she asked.
"Because its the right thing to do."
"I wish," she said, laughing once.
"Because its the right thing to do."
"I wish," she said, laughing once.
"It's complicated," he murmured. "Although, wouldn't you know all about that?"
"Why don't you actually talk to them?"
"Geez."
"Why don't you actually talk to them?"
"Geez."
"I wouldn't. Why don't you tell me?"
"They're just going to say the same thing you are. And I just can't tell Mimi that I'm leaving again.." he said quietly.
"So, Edward and Peter showed up. Managed to get the two vampires off of us, but Mimi sort of got bitten in the process."
"They're just going to say the same thing you are. And I just can't tell Mimi that I'm leaving again.." he said quietly.
"So, Edward and Peter showed up. Managed to get the two vampires off of us, but Mimi sort of got bitten in the process."
James sighed. "It doesn't even make enough sense to tell you. Why do you want to know?"
"Doesn't it strike you that if everyone's telling you the same thing, you might be wrong for once?"
He winced a little. "Ouch."
"Doesn't it strike you that if everyone's telling you the same thing, you might be wrong for once?"
He winced a little. "Ouch."
"I care about your well-being, James. I can see that you're upset."
"Nobody understands."
"Yep. And then Mimi and I got here...we don't know what happened to everyone else."
"Nobody understands."
"Yep. And then Mimi and I got here...we don't know what happened to everyone else."
"I am upset," he conceded, nodding. "It's nothing I can't handle."
"Edward, you're talking to me of all people. I'm pretty sure I understand."
"You mean the fanged duo? Probably still out there, don't you think?" he murmured.
"Edward, you're talking to me of all people. I'm pretty sure I understand."
"You mean the fanged duo? Probably still out there, don't you think?" he murmured.
"Are you sure?" she asked, walking over to him.
Edward pressed his tongue against his cheek. "I know."
"Well, yeah, but I don't know when they'll be back."
Edward pressed his tongue against his cheek. "I know."
"Well, yeah, but I don't know when they'll be back."
He raised an eyebrow at her. "Pretty sure. Why, is there something you know?"
"Then why aren't you listening to me?"
"Oh."
"Then why aren't you listening to me?"
"Oh."
"Maybe there is, maybe there isn't."
"I can't go back and see her...bleeding and know that I could've made sure that didn't happen."
"Yep."
"I can't go back and see her...bleeding and know that I could've made sure that didn't happen."
"Yep."
"If you're here to play games, you might as well cut the crap and get right to it."
"She's probably no longer bleeding."
"Sorry about all that."
"She's probably no longer bleeding."
"Sorry about all that."
"But games are so much fun," she purred, taking his chin between her fingers.
"You know what I mean."
"Hey, don't apologize. How'd things go with Jessica, by the way?"
"You know what I mean."
"Hey, don't apologize. How'd things go with Jessica, by the way?"
He took a step away from her. "Seriously."
"Um, yes. And she's probably fine. Unless that's like strike one on getting turned into a more conventional vampire?"
He shrugged. "Nothing happened. We just talked, and then I went to clear things up with... well, work-related stuff."
"Um, yes. And she's probably fine. Unless that's like strike one on getting turned into a more conventional vampire?"
He shrugged. "Nothing happened. We just talked, and then I went to clear things up with... well, work-related stuff."
"Oh, James, what have I ever done to you to deserve this?" she asked, dissappointed, shaking her head.
"No, no it's not."
"Work-related stuff?"
"No, no it's not."
"Work-related stuff?"
He shrugged. "I'm not in the mood for patience right now."
"Oh, good. You might want to tell her that to ease her out of her... shock. Because in some stories, that would be strike one."
"Not at the restaurant. Other work."
"Oh, good. You might want to tell her that to ease her out of her... shock. Because in some stories, that would be strike one."
"Not at the restaurant. Other work."
"Of course you don't," she sighed, "You know that I can make all your pain go away, right?"
"You've convinced me for now."
"And what does that entail?"
"You've convinced me for now."
"And what does that entail?"
"What pain?"
"Good. Let her convince you for the rest of the time."
He smiled a little. "Maybe I'll tell you sometime."
"Good. Let her convince you for the rest of the time."
He smiled a little. "Maybe I'll tell you sometime."
"You have a lot of it, James, I can see that."
Edward sighed. "I'll see."
"Why not now?" she insisted.
Edward sighed. "I'll see."
"Why not now?" she insisted.
"Sure, whatever you say."
"Trust me, you don't want to end up leaving again."
"Can't we all have our secrets for now?"
"Trust me, you don't want to end up leaving again."
"Can't we all have our secrets for now?"
"You'll soon want to hear what I have to say. Now is not the time."
"What do you know about that?"
"You've kept plenty from us, Alex."
"What do you know about that?"
"You've kept plenty from us, Alex."
"Then why come to me now?"
"She seems a little... unpredictable to me. Do the same unfavorable thing twice and she'll never speak to you again."
"Just this one thing."
"She seems a little... unpredictable to me. Do the same unfavorable thing twice and she'll never speak to you again."
"Just this one thing."
"To get ask some questions. I haven't gotten any answers."
"Maybe it'll be better that way."
"Fine, but don't think I'll soon forget."
"Maybe it'll be better that way."
"Fine, but don't think I'll soon forget."
"Don't you have other methods of getting information?"
"Not for you."
"That's all right. I'll tell you eventually, I'm sure. There, all clean," he said, changing the subject.
"Not for you."
"That's all right. I'll tell you eventually, I'm sure. There, all clean," he said, changing the subject.
"I don't think you're quite ready for them."
"So what?"
"Thanks, Alex," she said, taking the mop and poofing it away.
"So what?"
"Thanks, Alex," she said, taking the mop and poofing it away.
"Don't you have methods of getting information from other sources?" he revised.
"Well, goodness, being my closest friend and all, why should that possibly matter?"
"No problem."
"Well, goodness, being my closest friend and all, why should that possibly matter?"
"No problem."
He sighed. "I saw Ray kissing someone else," he muttered all at once, replacing the gas pump and not looking at her.
"So says the selfish creature."
"Me? I'm fine. Hell, you've had a longer day than I have. Why don't you get some sleep?"
"So says the selfish creature."
"Me? I'm fine. Hell, you've had a longer day than I have. Why don't you get some sleep?"
"Oh dear," she said quietly, "With who, might I ask?"
He clenched his jaw. "I'm trying my best to make sure everyone is safe."
"I think I should hold the fort for now."
He clenched his jaw. "I'm trying my best to make sure everyone is safe."
"I think I should hold the fort for now."
"That's where it gets more complicated," he said, gesturing over his shoulder to Tom who was still inside the gas station.
"Yeah, well, it seems to me that the only time they were unsafe is when you weren't there."
"That bad?"
"Yeah, well, it seems to me that the only time they were unsafe is when you weren't there."
"That bad?"
She laughed in disbelief. "Pardon me, but I don't think I understand."
He frowned. "Right."
She shrugged. "You never know."
He frowned. "Right."
She shrugged. "You never know."
"What don't you understand?"
"Well, don't just leave your relationship hanging. You'll seriously damage her like that."
"I don't think I follow."
"Well, don't just leave your relationship hanging. You'll seriously damage her like that."
"I don't think I follow."
"He kissed your girlfriend and now you're with him. It doesn't seem to add up."
"Don't start giving me relationship advice, Peter."
"I don't know what happened after we left. For all we know the two vampires that attacked us are still out there. Maybe I'm just being paranoid."
"Don't start giving me relationship advice, Peter."
"I don't know what happened after we left. For all we know the two vampires that attacked us are still out there. Maybe I'm just being paranoid."
"He said it was her fault. She said it was his. I didn't know what to do, so I left. Then Tom said he needed help with a job, and I thought it'd take my mind off things."
"I'm giving you psychology advice."
"Well, you're in here and they're out there. That's a pretty good start."
"I'm giving you psychology advice."
"Well, you're in here and they're out there. That's a pretty good start."
"Only because you're here to remind me. Thanks."
"It's not my fault you're having relationship issues. Don't you trust me?"
"So let's keep it that way. Relax, they can't get you in here."
"It's not my fault you're having relationship issues. Don't you trust me?"
"So let's keep it that way. Relax, they can't get you in here."
"I'm just concerned about you, James," she told him, taking a step closer.
"Of course I do."
"Thanks," she murmured, "I think I'll go sleep, actually. Maybe when I wake up this will all be over."
"Of course I do."
"Thanks," she murmured, "I think I'll go sleep, actually. Maybe when I wake up this will all be over."

"You'd rather nothing happen at all? That would smother her with boredom."
"It's okay. I can do it," she replied, taking some of the supplies and wandering over to the bathroom. "I'll be right back." Really she just wanted to escape the questions. She closed the door behind her and locked it, sighing to herself.
