Tom saw a cop in the distance and groaned quietly to himself. He walked along the edge of the wall, hoping to pass by unseen.

"If you look nervous, he'll find an excuse to stop us," James hissed under his breath.

"She's joking," Edward hissed and Ivan seemed to break from his trance.

"Because they're for cars," the policeman said dryly.
