Being closer, Alex found himself suddenly in the lead. And it was awkward.
James sighed as another gust of wind blew past them. "Great day."
James sighed as another gust of wind blew past them. "Great day."
"Quite," she said and pulled on James' arm, then put a finger to her lips. She nodded to the side and indicated that they should leave the other two alone.
He grinned and nodded his understanding, slowing his pace and eventually stopping. "Think you can pull us up a few good seats?" he teased.
He laughed and followed her.
Alex stopped once they got to where the benches were and sat down, propping his feet up on a table that was there as well.

Jessica took a seat next to him, then looked over her shoulder and noticed the other two were gone. "Strange..." she murmured to herself.
Ray poofed a small couch once they had gone a little ways off. "You first," she said, grinning.
Ray poofed a small couch once they had gone a little ways off. "You first," she said, grinning.
"They do that sometimes."
"Me first, what?" he asked, tapping her nose with his finger. "Are you going to make it fall on me?"
"Me first, what?" he asked, tapping her nose with his finger. "Are you going to make it fall on me?"
"Yeah, probably not. I mean, I've barely just met the two." He shrugged.
"I'm over it," he replied, kissing her cheek.
"I'm over it," he replied, kissing her cheek.
"That sounds like a lot of fun. What's it called?"
"Now we sit, I guess, if that's what you want to do," she said absently, looking away.
"Now we sit, I guess, if that's what you want to do," she said absently, looking away.
He shrugged. "Chambers."
((yep, just popped into my head))
James nodded to himself and looked out at the buildings across the way.

James nodded to himself and looked out at the buildings across the way.
"Maybe I should visit," she smiled, "Unless...you don't want me to?"
"I'm nervous," she admitted quietly after a moment.
"I'm nervous," she admitted quietly after a moment.
((im not supposed to be here, so i'll comment sporadically))
"Then I will," she said and paused, then added, "Are you okay?"
"Going back to Voldy's place. It gives me the creeps."
"Then I will," she said and paused, then added, "Are you okay?"
"Going back to Voldy's place. It gives me the creeps."
((all right. good luck. :P))
He looked right at her for the first time that day and smiled. "I'm fine."
"If it didn't, I'd wonder what was wrong with you."
He looked right at her for the first time that day and smiled. "I'm fine."
"If it didn't, I'd wonder what was wrong with you."
She raised her eyebrows. "Really?"
She laughed a little. "But still, its just something I want to put off even though I know we have to do it."
She laughed a little. "But still, its just something I want to put off even though I know we have to do it."
"... Mostly."
"Well, we just have to stick with the timeline. We'll be fine."
((i had an idea for the other two, that michelle should just randomly wake up and ed will be there and scare her half to death))

"Sorry," he mumbled.
"You say that an awful lot."
Mimi woke up slowly, yawning and stretching. She looked at the time and swore to herself, but made no move to get up.

"It's fine, it's just...I'll be straight with you. Most men are either intimidated by me or want to sleep with me," she said evenly, smoothing down her dress, "So which is it?"
"Sorry."
And Edward sitting somewhere in the room, kind of just looking around.
"Sorry."
And Edward sitting somewhere in the room, kind of just looking around.
He laughed. "Neither, if I'm being completely honest."
"Don't be."
She sat up slowly after a while, noticing in the back of her mind that there was someone else in the room. She jumped back against the wall when she saw him, swearing. "Gods, Edward, you just scared me half to death."

"Thank God," she sighed.
((im not sure whether to make it that she's is married to Roger Rabbit, or this is before that...))
"Trying."
He laughed a little. "Oops."

He laughed a little. "Oops."
((ooh, good question))
"Should I be insulted?" he asked, smirking.
Reaching an arm around her, James shook his head. "It's going to be fine."
She threw a pillow at him. "It's not funny. I thought you left already."

"All right, I can handle that."
"When have I ever been wrong?"
"Not hardly," she countered, "You were here last night."
"When have I ever been wrong?"
"Not hardly," she countered, "You were here last night."
((back))
"Now that that's out of the way..."
"Give me a minute," she said but managed a small smile.
"True, and I came back."

"True, and I came back."
((huzzah))
He laughed. "Yeah. I'm awkward at conversation."
"Take your time."
"What?" She rubbed at her eyes and blinked a few times. "That wasn't me dreaming or anything?"
He laughed. "Yeah. I'm awkward at conversation."

"What?" She rubbed at her eyes and blinked a few times. "That wasn't me dreaming or anything?"
He laughed. "Hardly. But thanks."
"See? Told you so."
"I wasn't trying to be, but thanks for the vote of confidence towards the notion that I could be a stand-up comedian," she mumbled, getting to her feet.
"See? Told you so."
"I wasn't trying to be, but thanks for the vote of confidence towards the notion that I could be a stand-up comedian," she mumbled, getting to her feet.
"That means not well at all," he teased.
"You don't want to talk to me? I'm offended."
She shuffled over to him. "It was a nap," she said simply, pulling her hair away from her face. "I need a haircut. Can I have a hug?" Her words didn't flow well together and largely didn't make sense because she was just waking up.

"Hey, I'm giving you credit here."
"I'd rather be doing something else with you," she said innocently, not looking at him.
"Do you want both?" he asked, grinning.
"I'd rather be doing something else with you," she said innocently, not looking at him.
"Do you want both?" he asked, grinning.
"How long have you lived in New York?" he asked a few moments later.
"Forward, I like it," he murmured against her lips, kissing her back.
"Maybe?"
"Forward, I like it," he murmured against her lips, kissing her back.
"Maybe?"
"Not long. I've been in west for most of my life."
"What else would I be?"
"I'm not good at making very stylistic choices."
"What else would I be?"
"I'm not good at making very stylistic choices."
"Yeah? Where at?"
He laughed and pulled at the hem of her shirt to tease her. "I have no idea."
"I can always go to a salon and ask them to surprise me," she replied, shrugging.

"Hollywood," she said lightly.
"It's too cold for that," she murmured, smiling.
"Okay, then I'll give you a hug."

"Okay, then I'll give you a hug."
"Is that so?"
"It's summer," he protested lightly, but moved his hands away nonetheless.
"Very good," she murmured, nodding her approval.

She nodded. "What about you?"
"There's wind. Besides, what if Alex walked in on us again?"
He smiled and put his arms around her.

"Oh, I've spent at least a few months in all fifty states. Wherever I'm needed." That was saying too much, so he shut up, playing it off with a shrug.
"He's busy."
She hugged him back, leaning her forehead on his shoulder.

"I thought you were a waiter?"
"Good point."
"Are you at least somewhat happy I'm back?" he asked for reassurance.
"Good point."

"I am," he said quickly.
"Thank you."
"Pleasantly surprised," she teased, downplaying her reaction by quite a lot.

"Don't waiters generally work in one place?" She slowly raised on eyebrow.
"So now what?"
"What a relief."

He smiled. "The restaurant here just opened a few months ago."
"Mmmm, you tell me."
She looked up at him, narrowing her eyes. "What did you think, that I wouldn't be happy at all and kick you out?"
