she shook her head. "but i dont know--" she stopped short. "oh, nevermind." she said, reaching past him at the small case on the table next to the bed. she carefully took her contacts out and replaced the caps on the lids and put them back on the table without spilling any of the fluid. she found her glasses and put those on so she could still see.
