Shannon turned to glare at him. "We're not in love and we're not a couple." She swiveled away from Rory and Rory looked at her with dejected eyes. He sighed.
"Guess I'll have to go through this tourism for a day or so."

Shannon stayed at Bugs heels and started to feel happier again, after a moment. Rory stayed a couple feet behind her, knowing she needed space after the statement Bugs had made.

"so how did you actually get here?" he asked. "you dont look like youre actually from anywhere around here."

"Just found it. We were walking in the forest and ended up here." She looked at the Rugrats kids and grinned.

"forest?" he asked, walking backwards so he could talk to her easily. "like that one?" he jerked a thumb at all the cartoon trees not too far off.

Shannon looked at them. "No...Wait." She looked down at her arms and realized that she was slowly turning into a cartoon as well. "What...What's happening to me?" She faced Rory, but he didn't seem affected at all.

he tilted his head to the side. "hmm, maybe you are from here. interesting. but i dont think thats healthy for you..."

She started to tremble and she saw cartoon lines for trembling come off of her. "No...Rory, what do you see--" She turned around. He wasn't there.
"Sweetie, if he was from your imagination, he can't live here." Shannon faced the new voice and saw it was Wanda from the Fairly Oddparents. "Things from your imagination only come from wishes or by accident."

bugs bunny chewed on his carrot. "it suits her though."

Shannon bit her lip. "I wish...I wish that Rory was here with me."
Wanda shrugged. "If that's what you want." She waved her wand and with a *pop* bubble, Rory was with her again. As a cartoon. Then she looked at herself again. She was fully a cartoon.
She started to cry.

"I'll find a way out." She had bowed her head and a tear fell from her eye and Rory saw it fall from behind her curtain of hair. "I will!" She shook her head and buried the heel of her hands into her closed eyes.
"Shan...Shan, you can't do everything." Rory said as he pulled her into his arms.

Rayana wandered off to the horror section. She grinned at the wide array of books. SHe scanned the titles.

michelle browsed the books aimlessly. she saw one she might like and grabbed it off the shelf.

Rayana noticed a book that she had seen at her sister's house. She couldn't take it because her sister was giving it to her friend. Rayana smiled and took it off the shelf, and became engrossed in its contents.

michelle went over to a far wall and sat down on the floor, starting to read.

"What are you reading?" he asked, sitting beside her.

Rayana put the book back on the shelf, then headed to the romance novel section.

she crossed her legs in front of her as she turned a page. she was reading fast today, probably because she recognized what was going on.

she stood and put the book back; she'd reread it when she got home. she continued browsing the titles.

Rayana found a book and opened it up, shutting it quickly. That was not for her eyes to see. She shuddered.

Rayana found another book, cracked it open. SHe sighed, finding that it had a way to sophisticated vocabulary.

she blinked twice, a wave of nausea washing over her. she sat down where she was, taking a few deep breaths in hopes that it would pass.
