michelle sighed and got off the plane, glancing around. she hated airports with a passion. she spotted her aunt with some italian guy she didnt know, assumingly her boyfriend. she forced a smile and went over to them, giving her aunt a hug and thanking them for letting her spend a few weeks over the summer with them, and that she'd always wanted to go to italy. she exchanged a few words with her aunt's boyfriend, in italian, and they left the airport.

"then lets head back to the house and put your stuff away, then head back out." her aunt suggested.

michelle nodded. "okay, thanks," she said, then set off on her own, just kind of exploring. she remembered her suspicion a few years ago, and shook her head at herself. it was seeming more and more like a dream lately than reality.

A group cloaked figures walked across the street, most of their faces hidden by their hoods.

michelle sighed and fidgeted with her crescent moon pendant and walked across the street, biting her lip. she was half worried about getting lost, but the other half was focusing on finding a melody to the lyrics she'd written on the plane ride here.

Edward slowed for a moment, the thoughts in the air familiar. He shook his head; it couldn't be true.

she sighed quietly, glancing over her shoulder. as she did so, her feet faltered somehow, and she walked right into one of the cloaked figures. ((lets just say edward, lol)) she blinked a few times. "sorry," she murmured.

"It's alright," he murmured automatically, then froze. "Michelle?" he asked quietly, looking at her. His eyes were a bright crimson, and he seemed somehow paler than before in cotnrast with the dark cloak he wore.

she raised her eyebrows, then recognized him. she shook her head in confusion. "you've got to be kidding me," she muttered, incredulous. she wavered on her feet, torn between hugging him and taking a step back in shock.

Edward bit his lip. "I'm sorry," he said quietly.
"Edward, what are you-" Jane said, then looked at Michelle with wide eyes. She gave Edward a slight smile. "I'll be telling Aro that you've gone off with a human," she taunted.
"You will tell Aro nothing," he hissed sharply and almost inhumanly, whipping around to face her. ((mimi should be like "holy crap, issues much?))
"Too late," she said and ran off. Edward let out a heavy sigh, then looked back at Michelle.

"thats what you couldnt tell me, thats what you had to leave in a hurry over?" she shook her head. "i dont believe it. what about your family, what about everythign you left behind?"

she ran a hand through her hair, trying to get the emotionless mask she'd used to have for half of forever back, but she couldnt find it anymore. she sighed, not knowing what to say.

He looked at her, sadness flickering over his eyes.
