Edward smiled slightly. "Yeah, I'm tagging along with her. See you guys later," he said, before following after Michelle. Ray waved.

michelle waved over her shoulder before exiting the hotel. "we can take the train there," she told him. "theres a stop a few blocks from my house,"

james rolled his eyes. "that wasnt fair; i wasnt ready," he mumbled, but smiled after them.

Rayana grinned and nudged him in the arm with her elbow.

Edward nodded. "Sounds good."

[Michelle, Where's your sense of adventure?]

"waht? she pokes hard..." he murmured, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

she nodded and headed towards where she remembered one being.

Rayana leaned against his side, laughing a bit. "We should probably get going to.

Edward followed.

"where to exactly?" he asked.

she paused at a red light, glancing once at him, before crossing the street and entering the train station.

Rayana bit her lip. "Let's see..."

"you can just... kinda make us appear there like last time?" he asked softly.

michelle sat back in a random seat, looking at the list of stops. home was always the last stop on the southbound list, but the first on the northbound list, either way. she sighed. twelve stops.

"Yeah, guess so," she said, then did so.

Edward sat down beside her and glanced over. "You okay for the most part?"

she looked at him. "yeah, why?"

She grinned and looked around. "We're a block or so away...hope no one recognizes me just yet.."

He brushed a stray strand of hair away, tucking it behind her ear. He let his hand linger on her cheek, before dropping to his side again.

he grinned. "should i be jealous?" he reased.

she smiled at him and leaned her head on his shoulder.

she sighed quietly as the train stopped, then a minute later started again.

"Get some sleep before we get there," Edward said quietly in her ear.

He smiled slightly, then looked out the window.

"well then," he said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

she dozed off about a stop and a half later.

She grinned slightly. "Don't worry, James. I won't leave you,"

Edward stroked her hair, not really paying attention to anything.

"You have doubts?" Rayana asked, looking at him.

he shrugged. "you never know what might pop up," he replied vaguely. "but other than that, no. you know i get jealous some times...."

She nodded, then gave him a light hug.

he hugged her back, kissing her head lightly. "anything else i should know?" he asked.

Edward gently shook her awake.

They approached the school and Rayana took a deep breath. "The doors are open, and everyone is in the school yard. We could go in and be alone for like 5 minutes before the kids starting going in," she suggested.

"We're here," Edward said, glancing out the window.

he nodded. "so do i just follow you around all day?"

she glanced up. "oh," she said quietly as the train doors opened. "thanks,"

she stood and cracked her neck, it being louder than she'd thought. she winced, then got off the train.

Rayana glanced over at the school yard filled with kids, then entered the building. She would just act as if she didn't know.

james followed her silently.

michelle smiled. "okay; its not far," she told him before heading out of the station and down the hill.

Edward followed, glancing around.

Rayana headed up the stairs, then paused on the third and sat down on one of the steps to catch her breath. The flights were a lot larger than a normal school's, despite the actual building being meant for an elemntary school.

james stopped and sat down next to her. "tired already?"

michelle led him down three blocks til she got to her house, then shrugged. "im moving out of here in about two months," she murmured.

"Where are you going?" Edward asked.

she shrugged. "my aunt's moving to italy, so she's letting us rent her house. but if we dont go there, we're going to brookfield."

"Oh, okay," Edward murmured, biting his lip at the word 'italy'.

Rayana turned her face slightly and kissed him lightly.

he kissed her back, slightly surprised, but went along with it anyway.

Rayana put one arm around his neck.

she grinned and started up the stairs. "you coming up or no?"

he moved a little closer and bit her lip lightly.

Rayana shivered slightly, her fingers tangling in his hair.

he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer, turning the kiss into the... french variety.

"i dont think anyones home..." she said over her shoulder as she unlocked the door.

Rayana froze for a moment, slightly surprised. ((and um, you know, kissed him back))

she looked back at him and rolled her eyes. "just taht no ones gonig to ask any questions that a guy's in the house with me," she replied, walking inside.

he didnt know if that reaction was good, but he shoved that thought to the back of his mind. he'd ask [and/or apologize:] later.

"Ah," he said, but smiled slightly.

Rayana pulled away slightly, hearing footsteps. "We should get upstairs.." she said breathlessly.

she laughed quietly and kept the door open for him to follow, her cat mewing a greeting, and also a 'where the hell have you been?'

he blinked at her, then looked over his shoulder. "okay,"

Rayana looked at him, before standing up and walking up the rest of the stairs. Her lips still burned with that last kiss.

she nodded absently, closing the door behind him. "yeah, and he's really skittish around new people, just a fair warning."
her cat walked warily forward to sniff at edward's shoe.

james followed silently. he'd bring it up later.
