Rayana took it and sat up, making a spoon materialize in her hand. She forced herself to take two spoonfuls, frowning slightly. SHe never liked cough syrup that much. She set the medicine aside, then fell back against the pillows.

"complaining?" she teased back.

he moved her hair out of her face. "yeah, i know how nasty that stuff is; i can remember from when i was little."

She smiled slightly. "Yeah, but now they have these lollipops that are apparantly good for you," she shrugged, "My aunt used to bring me them when I had a fever."

"Of course not," Edwatd said in a low voice, then kissed her again.

"were they any better?" james asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

she smiled slightly and kissed him back.

After a long time, Edward pulled away fractionally, his eyes still cold. "Michelle...I don't know if you feel the same way about me, but," he murmured on her lips, "I love you."

she blinked at him, then smiled, kissing him again, lightly. "wait for me to catch up," she murmured.

Edward shifted her over so that she was sitting in his lap, thinking she wouldn't mind.

she looked up at him and smiled a bit.

((how about ray gets this letter from her school saying that she has to go back? and then james gets the same one and has to go with her. and then everyone's going to be like "oooh, who's the hot emo guy with ray?" and there are like 4 guys in her class that like her soo...and her best friend always hugs her and makes remarks about how hot she is (and is also the kid in the picture with ray that james saw in the text) so james can get a bit jealous at that ^^)

Rayana walked around, then saw two letters on the bedside table. She raised an eyebrow, seeing that one was addressed to her. She picked it up and saw that it was from her school.

He set her on the bed. "You should get some sleep."

She opened the seal and took out the letter, proceeding to read it. As she progressed down, line by line, a frown increased on her face. School? Now? How come?

she smiled but curled up on the bed anyway. "okay,"

Michelle Robins...she's somewhere on this floor. Wonder why she's getting a letter from ((insert name of school here)). And Edward Cullen? Geez, maybe the system is rigged after all, he heard a man's voice say. Edward bit his lip, then stood up and traversed over to the door.
