the elevator opened and sam walked out. "hi mimi," he greeted her.
michelle rolled her eyes but didnt react, just walked purposefully in the elevator. she didnt want to have to talk to him.

Edward glanced at Sam, his eyes turning black for a moment, before following Michelle into the elevator.

michelle pressed the botton for their floor and watched as the elevator doors closed. she sighed, slightly in relief and slightly in agitation. she rubbed her temples like she did when she was annoyed.

Edward leaned against one of the walls, looking at the ground and closing his eyes, put his fingers to his brow.

michelle sighed quietly. she hated elevators. she glanced at edward. "you okay?" he seemed more agitated than she did.

Edward bit his lip. He was getting hungry...and Michelle smelled really good right about now.

He nodded, staying in the elevator. "Don't get into any trouble while I'm gone," he said and smirked slightly. It faded fast as he scent reached his nose and he grimaced, quickly pressing the button to close the doors.

she nodded. "okay," she murmured, walking towards her room, opening the door, and stepping silently inside.

Edward got to the first floor and ran out quickly, nobody even seeing him.

michelle laid down on the bed and stared up at the ceiling, feeling kinda stupid.

Edward stopped in a small plaza, glancing around. Were there any forests in Chicago? He bit his lip, his hunger getting edgier. The fact that he was in a crowded place filled with tasty humans did not help it either.

Edward stiffened as his hunter instinct clouded his judgement. His eyes blackened completely, like a void of nothingness. He noticed a faint, but distinct smell, and began following it.

Edward smirked slightly, seeing his prey going into an alley. Perfect. He quickened his pace slightly, coming closer and closer.

Then he pounced, quicker than a bullet, and drained the life away from his prey. His eyes blazed crimson as the man became limp in Edward's hands, lifeless. Edward took a few steps back, before running off.

Edward soon arrived outside the hotel and he walked inside. Taking the stairs, he went up until he got to the right floor. He walked down the hall, then entered the hotel room without a word.
