she smiled at him. "come on," she said, leading him forward until they got to the stoplight across from borders. they crossed the street and kept walking until they came to the train station.

the train was already at a stop when they got to the actual station, and michelle climbed in without hesitation. she settled into much the same seat as last time, resting her head against the window.
