His phone vibrated again and he frowned slightly. Reaching into his pocket, he snapped the phone in half, but the noise was barely audible.

her eyebrows drew together in concern and she looked at him again.

"What?" he asked, looking over at her. He brushed away a small bit of the plastic that had snapped off the phone.
