((Mimi:)) storm sighed, too weak to even try to follow.
Quinn opened his eyes gasping. "No...not Meadow. She wouldn't be like that." He looked around again and saw bright colored orbs swimming around him in a dark background. He looked around and they danced around him. He narrowed his eyes and tried to shove some out of the way, but they wouldn't budge.
A figure of white came up to him and the colors beckoned to her as if she were their master. They circled her like cats and rubbed color off onto her.
Meadow looked up at him and smiled shyly, dressed in a white dress and the orbs wriggled around before hopping onto her back and forming pale wings.
"Quinn..." She whispered and smiled, putting a palm up to the side of his face.
Quinn sighed, trembling at the soft touch and reached out to touch her and she shook her head, putting her other hand up to put a finger to his lips. "Shh...don't move. If you touch me, the illusion will disappear."

((lolz!))
Quinn let out a happy sigh and wished that he could touch her, just once. Meadow smiled at him as if she read his mind and pushed up onto her toes to kiss him softly. His arms trembled at the urge to wrap his arms around her, but held back the instinct.
The hand on his face trailed down his front and wrapped around his waist, barely brushing her body against his. He growled and closed his eyes, using all his concentration to keep his hands off of her.
Meadow giggled and rubbed her front against his and Quinn broke. He pressed his lips into hers and flung his arms around her.
"Quinn! I told you..." She screeched and shoved him away. Her orbs flew away and turned dark, letting out high-pitched squeals. Meadow's dress turned red and ragged, her face turning pale and thin fangs pressing against her bottom lip. Her orbs flew back to her and formed broken, black wings.
Quinn could only watch with wide eyes, afraid. Meadow looked up at him with her arms wrapped around herself and she cried red tears. "You touched me..."

Quinn gasped for air and fell to her feet. "Meadow...I didn't want this to happen."
"Well you did and look at me!!!" She cried harder and Quinn reached up to reach for her tears, ignoring the ones that fell on his upturned face and burned it like acid. He touched one and it moved onto his finger and imbedded itself in his skin. He brought his finger to his lips slowly and sucked it off, recognizing the taste of metallic blood. He moved up and trailed his hands up her arms and sipped the bloody tears that fell out of her eyes.
"Oh, Meadow..." His throat hurt like a thousand and one needles had pierced it, but he didn't care. So long as she was happy, he would be happy too.
"Quinn..." She sobbed and looked at him with dark eyes. "You love me still?"
"Of course." He smiled and slowly licked the last tear off her face. "I always will, no matter what you look like and no matter if you hate me."

((psst, guys..this is off-topic, but tell me if ya like this short story ^^:
Sean ran quickly, his boots pounding on the cobblestone streets. Lights flickered as he ran past them, shutters closed, and strong winds blew past. His dark cloak billowed behind him, its material as black as the night around him. No one dare come out now, he thought vainly, they fear me too much. He waved a hand briskly to the side and a shop window shattered. Sean held up an arm to deflect the broken glass that flew in random directions like bullets. The corner of his pale lips tugged up into a wicked smile; his sharp teeth glinting in the moonlight. His dark, beady eyes flitted around the empty town; searching. Not a creature stirred, and no sound was made. All that disturbed the peace of night was the sound of boots on pavement and Sean’s shadow that zoomed over everything like a menace. He inhaled deeply, his smile widening to a satisfied grin. Then he froze, eyes wide and his grin disappearing, being immediately replaced by a grimace. No! Not now!, he thought in frustration.
“Ah, so you are here. I thought you would be . . .” a light and airy voice said. Sean clawed his hands and bared his teeth menacingly. A low snarl erupted from his throat, but the voice merely laughed.
“You think that will scare me? You have a lot to learn.” it said. Sean whirled around and faced a clean-cut gentleman, his perfect features showing a mocking expression. Sean’s eyes flickered with anger, mixed in with slight fear.
“How did you find me?” he growled.
“Oh, it’s very easy to find you.” the other hissed through his teeth. Sean snarled again and ran off.
“You can’t escape me, Sean! It’s futile to run!” the man called after him as Sean faded off into the distance.
The hunt was on once more.))

Meadow smiled softly and rubbed her lips against his cheek, her fangs sliding over his skin and she whispered, "I will never hate you. You should know that." She pulled back again and Quinn saw that she was back to what she looked like in the first place. There were no traces of her black wings or her red dress or the bloody tears that had fallen over her face. Meadow gave him a peck on the lips. Then she took a prancing step back and said, "I have a surprise for you."
"What?" He replied happily, blissfully.
"Just a minute." She ran off and her orbs of light flew off her back as she turned a dark corner, going back to circle around Quinn. He waited for another moment and watched the orbs dance around him. Then Meadow called out to him and he looked up again. Her dress was a baby blue now and she had a bundle in her arms that she held carefully. Quinn's eyes opened wide and she stepped up to him again, the orbs forming her white wings again. "Look..." She whispered and looked down at the bundle with caring eyes.
Quinn looked down at her arms and saw a beautiful baby boy resting in her arms. He let out a soft gasp. He saw Meadow's eyes on the baby staring up at him, dark eyelashes framing them. His hair was the same color as his.
"But..." He gaped back up at her and her face was soft and loving. "I thought you said that you couldn't have any until...?"
"It was the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me." She murmured and her eyes flicked back up at his. "He's yours. And mine. Both of ours."
Quinn let out a deep sigh revealing how happy and scared he was and asked quietly, "What's his name?"
"His name?" Meadow looked surprised. "Don't you remember?" Quinn felt desperate to know, suddenly feeling his hearing get thinner, knowing he was going to wake up.
"Tell me what his name is." He looked up and the dark skies started to lighten.
"His name is..." She paused and bit her lip. "His name is--" Quinn saw her mouth it, but couldn't hear her. His vision changed in an instant, brightening everything to white and he opened his eyes with a jerk, waking up. Then he felt tears at his eyes.
"What was his name?" He asked in pain.
"What?" He replied happily, blissfully.
