"Riley, ask your wolf what he's interested in eating," Ayyana suggested. "Wolves have unique tastes sometimes."
Addie sighed. "It always gets worse when Riley's being an idiot."
"I certainly hope that's a good thing."

What do you want?
I don't really like anything you people eat.
"Mom, he doesn't like our food."
"Not with Crys actually here, no."

"Picky, I see. Well, if you eat anything raw, you'll get sick, and hunting by yourself is a bad idea. Matt!" she called over her shoulder.
"That's because he's distracted."
"Yay."

"What?" Matt called back, coming over.
"And because he doesn't want to seem dependent and all."
"I'm right here, you know."

"Hey Matt," Davis greeted, having not seen him that day.
Chris smiled and led her down another street.

"Why don't you take Riley hunting while we get dinner ready?" she suggested.
"And that's stupid," Addie said, shaking her head at Riley.
"Where are you taking us?"

"Ooh, OK!!! Come on, Riley!" Matt said, already running off, phasing as he went.
"Hey, wait up!!!!"
They disappeared into the nearby forest together and soon found some squirrels to chase. Matt showed Riley how to crack their necks and explained which parts not to eat. After Riley did it too, they buried the skeletons and returned home.
"Mom, I caught a squirrel!!!"
"Barely."
"He cares way more than you do about how he comes off to others. It's not necessarily a bad thing."

"You're just full of surprises today, aren't you?"
Ayyana grinned. "Just one squirrel?"
"It is when you start going all conformist-nazi."

"Any time, my dear." She led him to a table near the back of the restaurant where they'd have a bit of privacy, waving to a few people she knew on the way.
"I'd highly recommend anything on this menu, by the way," she said as a server walked up.
((does playing the server matter, or should that just be skimmed over?))

The waiter turned to her expectantly. Adrianne smiled pleasantly and handed him the menus. "Surprise me," she said, smirking a little.
The waiter knew this game, and he smiled in return, providing a little wink as he took the menus. "Will do." And then he left.
