Dave drove up to the house in his police car, licking the remains of a jelly donut off of his moustache. As he pulled to a stop near their front yard and scrutinized the place. It seemed normal enough, so he presumed he would be in and out in no time. With a grunt he opened the door of the car and got out.

Ayyana was there at the door to meet him, shaking his hand a little too enthusiastically in effort to show innocence. "Good morning, good morning, please excuse the mess. Would you like some coffee?" she asked, leading him inside.

He mumbled something as he pulled out of her grasp. "Ma'am, I'm going to have to speak to all of your children individually," he started, "Protocol, you see. Very simple. I'll just ask them a few questions, nothing big.."
