She paused on the edge of the treeline before approaching her house. "Here it is. Not much, but it's good enough, I guess. Built it last month."

"Thanks," she said, smiling a bit. "Here, go on in, I have to erase our trail." Oh, saying that brought memories. She cringed at her words and went around back for the bucket of water. No magic stuff this time, though, so it wouldn't be as effective.

"I'll be sure to." She took the bucket of water and made sure to cover their tracks until at least the treeline and then retreated back inside when she was sure no one was there. She hadn't done that in a while, but she supposed she could use the extra protection.
