Chris felt like he was drunk. He felt groggy and his eyes were barely open. He sat up, felt dizzy, and immediatley lay back down. He groaned and turned on his side. Where was he?

After lying there for a few minutes, he felt well enough to try sitting up again. The same dizziness did not afflict him, so he took the chance to look around. It looked awfully familiar, but everything seemed blurry to him.

Addie sighed and rambled around in the forest. It was like the trees never ended, but it's not like she actually felt like stopping.

"I seriously doubt it."

Chris groaned as the trees swirled in front of him again, and he fell to his side.

She froze when she heard something hit the ground and peered around a tree. There wasn't anything there. Maybe she was just imagining it.

Chris rolled onto his stomach and propped himself up on his arms. They shook slightly, but he could hold that position for a few seconds. Slowly, he brought his knee up and used it to propel himself up. Chris swayed a little as he stood and had to lean on a tree for support.

No, there was definitely something in the woods with her. "Hello?" she called tentatively, which sounded stupid when she said it.
