Jethro walked through the forest, stumbling over ever root and branch that came in his way. He clung onto the trunk of the nearest tree as he took another tumble. "Why I'm in this god forsaken place, I'll never know," he whispered under his breath, pulling his foot from where it had gotten stuck in a nearby puddle of mudd. He frowned at the dark stain that was on his shoe and continued on, brushing back his dyed hair from his face and putting it to the side with a hair clip. "I wonder how long I've been gone."

[Michelle, Where's your sense of adventure?]

Addie froze as she heard a voice not-far-off. She continued on silently, trying to see whoever the other person was before they saw her.

Jethro flinched a bit as a bug flew into his face, and he swatted it away rather pathetically. "I hate the forest, I hate the forest," he repeated to himself in a terrified tone. He pulled his sleeves up and continued, holding onto overhead branches for balance.

Adrianne peeked around a tree and saw him. He was rather awkward, clearly not used to such freedom that the forest provided. Given that, she was getting sick of all the trees herself. The kid was probably harmless, so she shrugged and turned back the other way, snapping a twig rather loudly as she went, swearing under her breath for all the noise.

Jethro jumped, biting his lip before a shreik could escape. He slowly released the branch he was holding onto and looked around. He glanced over his shoulder at least twice, before heading slowly in the direction of the noise. "Is anyone out there?" he asked nervously. He doubted it, though. It was a forest; who would possibly be here?

[Michelle, Where's your sense of adventure?]

She stopped in her tracks and closed her eyes. The kid was scared, surely not a threat. She sighed and decided to answer. "Unfortunately," she muttered between her teeth before turning aroudnd to face him.

Jethro's eyes widened, having not expected an answer. He continued forward, luckily without any mishaps. Once he caught sight of Addrianne, he sped up a little, and in his hastiness tripped on a root and fell on his face. He slowly got up and smoothed out his shirt, only leaving more stains on the front. Frowning at the state of himself, he looked up at the stranger.

[Michelle, Where's your sense of adventure?]

"Are you okay, kid?" she asked, looking sideways at him. "Did you hit your head?"

"N-n-no," he stuttered, "I'm just very clumsy."

"Are you sure?" she asked. "Most people who smell like you tend to have better balance."

"I have no idea," he muttered, shutting his eyes tightly and trying to rack his head for some memory, "All I remember is finding some weird guy, blacking out, and ending up here."

"Washington?" Jethro asked in disbelief, then covered his face in his hands. "How did I get here?" he moaned to himself and sat down on the floor in defeat.

"Oh, well, shit." She gave him a critical look. Well, he smelled like a werewolf. He could easily turn around and walk back the way he came, or run and get there in half the time. What was keeping the kid?

"I've been trying to get home for the past few hours, but I don't think I'm making any headway," he said, finally managing to stand up. "I'm Jethro, by the way," he added as an afterthought.

"Adrianne," she returned, nodding. "And only a few hours? You have no idea how you ended up here?"
