Riley was sitting in a tree, trying to sleep and failing miserably - he was too busy thinking. He'd spent the day with Crys - and it was fun and all - but still. He missed Addie, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that it was his fault that she'd left - after all, there'd been no talk of going before he'd pissed her off.
He shook his head. He was getting a migraine of sorts from these thoughts that he knew would go away if he'd slit open his wrists and forget everything but the physical pain. But he'd promised so many people he'd not do so....

Riley really, really wanted to just agree with the voice and have his mind shut down for a bit. He took out a knife and ran his fingers along the blade, considering. He really shouldn't.

Addie decided to stop and rest for now. She was tired anyway, and she hadn't really found anything but more trees. What if she wasn't actually getting anywhere. Maybe she should ask Riley... But she didn't want to bother him. He was probably having fun and her intrusion would not be welcome.
