She lay in the water in silence after that, at a loss of conversational topics. She wasn't very good at talking to people, anyway, so she didn't let it bug her.

Addie hadn't been out here in a while, and those who visited her house often wondered how she lived without food. Eventually she knew that she'd have to leave the perpetual safety of her house and go out to get something, but she was feeling much too paranoid for that. But, she had no food. So into town it was, before she starved to death. She doubted that anyone would appreciate that.

Crys was wandering around the grocery store, stocking up on microwave food.

Addie walked into the store quietly. She could tell that the normal people were looking at her funny for her caution, but she didn't want to take any chances today. She browsed the aisles and took things off the shelves at random and examined them, unable to remember if she liked such things or not.

Crys reached out for something, but someone else took it first. "Oh, sorry," she murmured, then looked at the person. Oh my Jesus...she looks just like him! She compared a mental image of Riley with the girl in front of her. They had almost the same face....Crys bit her lip and looked away.

Addie looked over at the other girl and smiled a bit. "No, that's my fault, sorry. I didn't even notice you were standing there." She laughed a bit, because she wasn't being quite as careful as she really should be.

Crys almost sighed with relief that the girl didn't have Riley's faint accent. "It's fine," she said, looking at her again. She looked exactly like Riley.

"I'm Adrianne," she replied, tilting her head to the side. Odd, didn't Riley know someone by that name? Oh well, she wasn't going to find out. "I actually don't come here that often, either. I live in a house near the forest back there."
