"Darn. As much as I like being nomadic, I miss sleeping inside a house."

callie shrugged. "there's not much to tell. we've been best friends for a while--we call ourselves sisters or cousins, our little inside joke. if you want, i could take you to meet her, if her boyfriend isnt there." she offered, frowning.

"Then why don't you want to spend time with him?"

her eyes flashed but she kept her voice quiet. "because it's obvious that he loves adrianne. i dont want to come between them, so i left for a bit." she shrugged. "im not sure how much good it'll do, but its worth a shot. im not sure how thrilled adrianne was shen he told her.." she trailed off, shrugging again.

"If you two are together by impriniting then how can you manage to be apart?How can you live?"

"because i imprinted on someone else before that." she said. "its a long story."
