Rayana dashed off toward New York City. She arrived at Times Square in eight minutes. She looked around, then made her way to the asylum.

Rayana reached a tall white building and sighed. It was familiar; too familiar.

She walked inside and blinked at the extremely bright light. Now she remembered why she had always hallucinated. She went up to the receptionist, then asked for a list of all the patients. A list was handed to her and Rayana flipped through the pages. She blinked, noticing that there were a lot more patients than there had been 3 years ago. She searched for two specific names: Charlie Kingston and Anna Grenville.

She finally found them, breathing a quiet sigh of relief. She then rushed into the hallway and bounded up the stairs, two at a time. She came to another office, and asked if she could come in. Believing the excuse that she was a relative, the receptionist let her in. Rayana walked down the very white hallway and glanced at each door in turn, looking.

She then saw an all too-familiar figure. His back was turned to her, but she noticed him immediatley by his white hair that was tied in a long ponytail. She grinned happily and ran up to him, jumping on his back and wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Charlie! It's you!" she gasped. Charlie blinked for a moment, before laughing.
"Ray?" he asked inbetween laughs. She nodded.

Charlie turned around and swept her into a bear hug. Rayana made a tiny choked sound; Charlie had always managed to hug her a bit too hard. Charlie saw this and dropped her, then ruffled her hair a bit. Rayana grinned.
"You've grown." he said, his eyes sparkling.
"Maybe you've just gotten shorter." she said, raising her eyebrows. There was a moment of silence before they burst out laughing again. Rayana wiped a tear from her eye and looked up at him.
"What are you doing out of your cell?" she asked
"I escaped...thought I'd take a look around." he said, shrugging.
"You still do that?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.
"Always have, always will."

"Is Anna-" she started, but heard someone singing very loudly. Rayana grinned and ran to the end of the hall. She looked into the cell and started laughing, seeing her pink-haired friend Anna dancing around and singing to 'Crazy'. Anna opened her eyes, and her jaw dropped to her knees when she saw Rayana.
"RAY!" she shrieked loudly and ran towards the cell door. She reached her arms through the bars, and Rayana pushed hers through also, and they hugged.
"Long time no see, eh?" Rayana murmured.
"I KNOW! OH EM GEE, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR HEAR!" Anna said loudly. Rayana chuckled, already immune to her friend's loud voice.

Charlie glided over.

"TAKE OUT YOUR FRICKIN' EAR BUDS!" he said loudly. Anna's mouth turned into a little 'o' and she popped out the ear buds that had, until now, looked invisible.
"You said you weren't coming back." Charlie said, looking down at Ray.
She shrugged. "I didn't think I was...but now I have time." she murmured.
"Ooh, do tell." Anna said and grinned, clutching the bars with her hands and leaning her face against it.

"Riley." she said softly.

"Hey." Rayana snapped at her, but giggled a bit.

"I say we go celebrate." Anna said, ignoring Rayana's comment.
"By doing what?" Rayana asked, raising an eyebrow. Anna grinned evilly and Ray's eyes widened.
"Oh no. Not that look." she said, backing away slowly.
"Oh, it's that look." Charlie murmured.

"Oh, come on! This isn't fair!" she cried, struggling against their grip, to no avail.

They dragged her down to the basement, which was much darker than the upper floors. Rayana's eyes widened.
"No. Nononononononono..." she kept repeating as they carried her to a dimly lit room.

They pushed her onto a chair and she tried to make a break for it, with little success.
"We have a special request, Ron." Anna said brightly, ignoring the fact that the room they were in was utterly and completely creepy. A deep voice chuckled.
"Ray? Didn't recognize ya there for a moment. Okay, Anna, whaddya want?" the man asked, opening a drawer.
Rayana gasped softly and glanced at Anna and Charlie.

Charlie and Anna pushed Rayana toward a mirror and she gasped. The left side of her hair was now dyed purple, and her bangs now fell half-way over both eyes. A star was tatooed under her right eye, and eyeliner had been used to give her a 'cat's eye'. Her lips now looked plumper, and there was a small piercing under them. She looked a lot more beautiful than before.
"Well?" Anna asked and Rayana's eyes widened.
"Oh my god.." she breathed

"Me adn Charlie are getting released next month!" Anna said excitedly and Charlie nodded, grinning.
Rayana smiled widely.
"That's awesome, you guys! Then you can come to Washington with me." she said, looking at both of them.
"You were in Washington?" Charlie asked, motuh agape. Rayana nodded.
"Damn, that's far." Anna said, her eyebrows shooting up.

Riley decided to go check on Rayana.

Rayana grinned, then looked at herself in the mirror again. She ran a hand through the purple side of her hair, awed at how beautiful she looked.

"Thanks again, Ron!" Rayana said over her shoulder, before disappearing.

"Right. Later." Rayana said, smiling slightly, then ran home.
