I think everyone should keep a list of the books they read over their lifetime; then they can tell their kids/friends/family what books were good and which ones they wouldn't recommend. I keep charts. :) I like to, it's fun; and next to "entries" I rate them on a scale of 1-10. ;) lol

This is my 4th year to keep a list, but I never rated books until I got on GR.
I agree -- it is fun. ;)


Kim-Lost-In-A-Book I started my lists in 2006. My middle daughter started her list in 2nd grade :-) She's in 10th grade now and still writes down all the books she reads and she keeps track of number of pages as well.

I do love the classics! I love art history so maybe I am drawn to their different life styles and their perspective on life. I find their writing and characters much more complex. I also like that they live in a world where the majority of people have faith in God.

I LOVE A Wrinkle in Time.I also really likedA Swiftly Tilting Planetand A Wind in the Door.Many Waterswas good too.

Sandra Brown - loved Exclusive and ever since then picked up any book of hers and have enjoyed them all
Philippa Gregory - The Other Boleyn Girl
Jennifer Armentrout - Wait For Me was amazing and thus anything from her I will gobble up
Christopher Moore - his A Love Story series was hilarious and his books always makes me laugh
