Melanie Cusick-Jones (melc-j) Spend all your time reading ebooks? Well work those arm muscles in this event and read a hardback book - the bigger the better :) Tell us what you read and whether you think it's worth paying the extra pennies for the hardbacks!

I read Destined (House of Night, #9) by P.C. Cast as a hardback and hated the book and the fact it made my arm ache made it worse. I'm a fan of paperbacks.

Hayley Waters (hayleywaters) | 53 comments I'm considering just rereading my Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix for this. I'm pretty sure it'll qualify.

I was looking on my shelf for a hardback - they're few and far between :) Think I might re-read Deathly Hallows

Hayley Waters (hayleywaters) | 53 comments Gosh, don't you just love your trusty Harry Potter hardbacks to go to when you need a thick book?

Kirsten (kielianne) I have maybe a handful of mammoth hardbacks that I have yet to read, but do I dare tackle them?! lol

The Girl Who Played With Fire (Millennium, #2) by Stieg Larsson The Princes of Ireland (The Dublin Saga, #1) by Edward Rutherfurd Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1) by Cassandra Clare The Devil's Queen A Novel of Catherine de Medici by Jeanne Kalogridis

Melanie Cusick-Jones (melc-j) I've done my shot put, but it was actually quite a small book - I. Just don't really do hardbacks these days, they hurt when you stay up too late reading and drop them on your face :)

Anyway, my shot put entry was Red Herrings and White Elephants The Origins of the Phrases We Use Everyd by Albert Jack

I'm heading back to The Goddess Test for the Pentathlon now

D.M. (dmyates) I've been re-reading Harry Potter, which I have in hardback. I think I'm spoiled by Kindle books.

Dana (danachewy) I did Bloomability by Sharon Creech... LOVE that book though it's a children's... It's not that thick though...

Anyway I got this copy from the library but I usually buy the paperbacks. Except for classics like Harry Potter which I have in hardback.

I only own two hard back books Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1) by R.L. LaFevers
I haven't attempted Grave Mercy yet because it looks good but its soooo thick and the hard cover makes it look all the more daunting.
