message 1: by Scout (new)

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3594 comments When I tried to sign in to Goodreads a few minutes ago, I had to do it through either Facebook, Twitter, or Google. Never had to do that before, and I don't like it. Then, when I want to read a thread, I can no longer click on date and see the most recent posts. All I get is the original post to the thread. Anyone else experiencing this?

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3594 comments Thanks for your reply. This is very strange.

Appreciate your reply. What do you do to see the most recent comments? I've always been able to click on date, and they would come up.

Feedback Group is a better source for answers. A lot of bug threads over there.

Thanks. How do I get there?

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3594 comments I'm going to try that. You're a doll, Lg:)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments My daughter wants to invite forty five friends for a party at our house.

I'm in the fetal position trembling. Apparently we are welcome to stay as long as we are cool. About what?

Evie....it's your house. If you don't want 45 of her friends over, she shouldn't have them over.

message 14: by Cheri (new)

Cheri | 795 comments 10 people will show up- or 100. Trust your kid. Be gracious. Have fun. It will ruin her party. All will be fine. Please report back if there is debauchery. It is what I live for.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3594 comments Just don't give your daughter a sip of wine, or she'll name you as the source of her problems when she's 50 (a la Eddie Van Halen).

message 16: by Cyril (new)

Cyril I don't think I've ever had 45 friends.

Susan | 6406 comments Those dolls are frightening.

Evie - what happened with the party? How many showed up? Were you cool?

The party didn't happen . She went to a nightclub with a group of friends. I am cool.

message 19: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I already knew you were. I wonder how very uncool kids might think I am. Never mind. I don't want to know. I will remain aloof to their parameters.

message 20: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments There's a lot of goings on to be uncool about during their teenage years.

message 21: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I am not looking forward to the teenage years. It is the main reason I really wanted a boy because I vividly remember the fights I had with my mom.

I don't think those fights are inevitable, though.

message 23: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I hope not.
