Lela | 55 comments Lol! I live in Utah. I've never really been to any of our sights either. It's kinda funny! I've never been to Arches or anything.

message 104: by Paige (new)

Paige Miller Well, I've never been to the Golden Gate Bridge. So you know.... only tourists do that kind of thing.

Lela | 55 comments yeah, guess so! Lol!

message 106: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) Eh, there's nothing wrong with being in your own state like a tourist!

Plenty of people do it in Michigan! I mean, just drive three hours north, and you're, well, up north. Not all the way up in the UP though... not many people go there, cuz everybody knows that there are about two people that live in that wilderness. :)

And the trees in Michigan are really pretty in the fall. :D Actually, Michigan is generally pretty year round. Well, not so much in the cities but away from them there are all kinds of fun stuff, like lakes!

message 107: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) btw... since you guys are non Michiganders, 'up north' refers to the traverse city/ Mackinac island(which is actually pronounced mackinAW) and 'UP' is also called
"the yooper" and stands for "Upper Peninsula"

jeeves... | 91 comments minnesota's boring... we've got nothing but harsh weather, which varies depending on the season, and the occasonal canadian....oh, and lakes. we got lakes. yippee.

message 109: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) yeah, the weather in Michigan can b e pretty crazy too, with the lake effect. I mean, on day it's sixty degrees, and the next day the sky dumps six inches of snow on us!

And we have lots of lakes too. In fact, I wouldn't bet against a statement that said that our county was more than 1/3 water. I don't know if that's true, but I think it is.

And Windsor isn't that far away from us. It's right next to Detroit!

message 110: by jeeves... (new)

jeeves... | 91 comments yeah, i know, like last week, where i am in mid-MN, it was below zero almost all week... cold, but i prefer that over hot... i hate florida haha, my sister and nieces live there, man it's horribly warm hahaha...

I've only been to the Space Needle once, when I was 8, and never on the underground tour or anything. It IS kind of a tourist thing.

hm... first sentance. we all have the same first sentance, and then it can go wherever you want. Maybe you should have a required character as well, or would that be too complex?
