as a complete aside, really, people don't get why Gale and Katniss didn't end up together? Seriously? You didn't spot that he's a sociopath, and that he'd be a game designer if he'd been from the capitol? You didn't spot that he had absolutely no compunction with killing innocents? And that Katniss would never be able to forgive him for it? You didn't realise that Suzanne Collins had set him up as the handsome hero, just so she could deconstruct that image, and make the good, moral person (Peeta) the hero?ok, back to the game.

correct, but for the wrong reason, jabberjays are the muttations, not hybrids, mockingjays, however, are hybrids (ie, crossbreeds) of jabberjays (the muttation) and mockingbirds (natural birds)you're turn.

I suspect not real, but it leaves it a little open, with evidence for it being not real.
