im so excited this will be a amazing movie
yay! this is one of my favorite books!
I LOved this Book!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone has differnt likes and dislikes, they must not be to bad, if they have become extremely popular. I also love classic sci-fi and dystopian, but this newer type of writing, is really good to, I love to read, and I loved this book and CAN'T WAIT for the 3RD BOOK!!!!!!! :)

Oh...my...Haloway!! I messaged Lauren Oliver over goodreads and she confirmed that Delirium is being made into a movie!! I am like so excited it was really such a great book with such an inruiging plot! I must confess, I am Team Alex! But Julian is a nice kid.Raven ad Blue are awsome!! Noooo, Blue! Why did ypu leave us!! *sobs*
I am so happy that this is going to the big screen. I may not have loved the ending of Delirium (Who does???), but I want to see how it would look on screen rather in my mind.

and i agree 100% this was a waste of time and it wasnt groundbreaking as how everyone (just about) claimed it to be.

Anyway, if you're a fan of City of Bones, you can check out the discussions and see just why your hopes of Alex Pettyfer playing Alex Sheathes are pointless. There's a big drama over it. Ugh.
This is awesome! All my favourite books/series are turning into movies! The Hunger Games, The Mortal Instruments, Divergent, Artemis Fowl - and now Delirium! Awesome!
Hmmmm...I can't decide if I'm ecstatic, or annoyed. I loved the book, but really? Do movie producers have to do all these book-to-movie adaptations? (Twilght, Hunger Games, City of Bones, The Host, Beautiful Creatures, Percy Jackson, need I go on?)
Nevertheless, I'm curious to see how this all goes down. The cast has to be fantastic, or I will be very upset.

When I read Delirium, I pictured Jeremy Sumpter as Alex. I love him to be Alex xD

I find it funny every time I encounter a discussion about book that's going to be made into movies, Alex Pettyfer is always present. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like him alright but he isn't every character in every freakin' book. Just saying.

@Asser and ReemHa! Alex Pettyfer even says hmself he's too old to be playing a teenager. (for City of Bones, Jace) Why does everyone love that guy so much? Yeah, he's cute, but he's f-ing overrated.

Too bad he doesnt want to play teenage roles, cause he can seriously pull it off... :/

Everyone, Alex Pettyfer is a terrible actor so I wouldn't want him playing my favorite characters. He would ruin them! He is very good looking. But looks aren't everything. People only like him for his looks, that's all he ever will be, a pretty face. I'm glad he's done with teenage roles.
Okay, don't get me wrong, I love Delirium and Pandemonium and CAN'T WAIT for Requiem, but I feel like the movie isn't going to be all that great, because you won't be able to understand Lena's internal conflicts, and her connection with Alex. Nevertheless, I'm definitely going to watch the movie when it releases.

AP is just a pretty face, I thought everyone knew that, he's not such a good actor... which reminds me it's ironic how they picked him to play Kyle Kingsley in Beastly because he was all ugly, but people still liked him. Actually, I liked him better as the ugly beast. But he is NOT right for Alex Sheathes, and for that matter, not right for teenager roles, cuz he's right, he's an adult now.
Super excited! While she is probably too old for the character, I keep seeing Blake Lively as the character of Hana. Because this image is so strong in my head already, I think I am going to be annoyed by whomever they choose. Hopefully, I will be able to accept another actor in that role okay...lol!
I am so excited!!! My favorite thing to do is make all my friends read books that are going to be movies before seeing the movie. It's kind of like a tradition, going to the theaters to see our current favorite book being brought to life on the big screen! Can't wait to start harassing my friends to read Delirium before we see the movie! *giggles in an evil tone* just kidding!

And Lena's mom in the books is rewrote to her dad in the show.
And Alex has a love interest in the plot that isn't Lena, but she likes him and he isnt aware.
