Do you think Katniss would have survived if Haymitch didn't get her?

I don't think she would have because Haymitch got her gifts that she and Peeta needed and anyone else would not have gotten sponsors to like her
No the Capitol was looking to kill her. Whether it was another tribute or an element in the game they would have made sure she died.
I don't think we know enough about the coaches to know if Haymitch was an exceptional coach. He hadn't produced a winner until Katniss came along. I really wonder if she would have won if Cinna hadn't been helping her though. Isn't he really the one that made people like her??? Good question though! Thought provoking.

She without a doubt would have died. It's not about her skill. The Capitol would never have let her live. They could easily have a "natural disaster" take her out. She knew this from the start, that's why she was just focused on keeping Peeta alive. Though, deep down, she knew they wouldn't let him live either.
And if the Capitol had captured her like they did Peeta, it'd be public torture and execution. How could you think anything else would happen?

Well, it's kind of a moot point...Haymitch & co went in and got her as part of the plan...half the other tributes were working to the same plan, and Johanna only carved her arm up to get rid of the tracker. It wasn't like any other Hunger Games, the point was to keep her alive, and get her out, no matter what.
I have faith in Katniss and she is a very capable person, but to have an experianced person there like Haymitch contributed a lot to her success. It would be very hard to say, but my guess would be that Katniss would've made it, she just would have had a harder time. I doubt two would have come out like they did and the capitol would have chewed her alive.

I think it all had depended on Peeta.... If she knew he was safe she would have just given up... but if she thought he was hurt or injured she would have kept fighting past her ability
