changing author's name

hi, i've created a book Vzýván i nevzýván by Tomáš Halík, but the name saved as Tomas Halik (both names are actually active on goodreads although it is the same author). Surprisingly, i am unable to edit it to the correct name, after editing book's author as Tomáš Halík, it simply stays Tomas Halik. Is there a reason a cannot edit author's name? So far I haven't found one. Thanks for reply.
