"Wow, Starkit!" Breezekit mewed. "If that were a mouse, it would be very dead!" She hooked it with her claws and tugged on it slightly, letting out a soft growl.

Starkit wiggled her butt in the air, growling softly too. Suddenly, she sprang onto Breezekit's back, play-biting the back of her neck.

Breezekit meowed happily, glad that Starkit had gotten over her earlier worry. She wiggled her back, pretending to try and get Starkit off, but not putting any real effort into it.

Starkit meowed with triumph. She leapt down, slid under Breezekit, and started battering her belly with her strong hind legs.

Breezekit growled, and jumped away from Starkit, then since she was already on her back, Breezekit buried her nose in Starkit's soft fur.

Starkit squealed, pawing at her nose. She flipped back onto her paws, the reared up onto her hind legs.

[Sam]

Ravenflight and Sparrowtail were in the bushes, listening to the ShadowClan cats. "We should get our leader to attack now! ThunderClan wouldn't know what hit'em!" one cat said. There were four cats on ThunderClan territory, and Sparrowtail wanted them off. Soaringstar would most likely say to get back up. Sparrowtail thought. Leader's word is law. But our leader isn't here! Sparrowtail thought again. She readied herself for attack. Sparrowtail signaled to Ravenflight to do the same. The black cat nodded, she understood. They leaped out of the bushes, claws unshealthed. Sparrowtail dug her claws in her opponent's back. He struggled to get free and rolled onto his back. Sparrowtail was crushed under the weight of the ShadowClan cat. He got up and pinned her down on her back. She struggled, but she couldn't get free. She picked up her hind legs and dragged them across his soft underbelly. He yowled in pain and fled. When she got up she saw Ravenflight fighting two other cats. Where's the fourth? she thought. Suddenly claws slid painfully down her back. She turned to see a huge black cat with a white star on his chest. He leaped at her, she dodged and ripped her claws through his fur as he jumped past. He quickly rounded on her and sliced her flank. Sparrowtail jumped on his back and sunk her teeth into his scruff. She dug her claws in deeper. The cat flung his attacker against a tree. Sparrowtail was on her side, unmoving. He came closer and stood up on his hind legs. Sparrowtail flashed out her hind legs and kicked him into the dust. He got up and ran to the ShadowClan side of the forest. Ravenflight finished off the two other warriors and sent them to the ShadowClan border. They were both wounded but they made their way back to camp.

Breesekit stepped bACk, then lowered her head and butted Starkit with it.

Sparrowtail and Ravenflight were back at camp. "Soaringstar they're gone!" Sparrowtail reported. Her coat was mangled and bloody. "Just a few scarches but at least we showed'em whose boss in these parts!" she said. Ravenflight nodded in agreement.

Soaringstar looked at them, both pleased and distressed. "You both should have come for backup! Those are more than just a few scratches! Go to the medicine cat den, now. I will speak to you later."

"Yes Soaringstar." they said at the same time. They went to the medicene cat's den.

Soaringstar gave them a hard stare as they left. They knew better than to fight without backup!

Oakpaw was so excited that there were new kits in the clan that he could take care of and look after. "Should I bring Runningwind some borage?" Oakpaw asked his mentor, Brightcloud.

"Sure!" Brightcloud mewed gratefully. "And while you're at it, will you please bring Redleaf some chervil? She was complaining about a bellyache earlier." ((Redleaf is a grouchy elder I will be creating as soon as I can get on a computer, instead of a little phone. Edit: Sorry for all the typos I had before! It's hard for me to type on my phone...))

"Hello? Medicene cat? HELLO! MEDICENE CAT!" Ravenflight yelled into the den. Sparrowtail stuck her head inside the den.

Dewclaw padded out of the Warrior's Den. He stopped and looked at them both, eyes wide. "What happened?"

"Oh, these? Just some damage from ShadowClan." Sparrowtail replied simply.

"Sure I can bring Redleaf some chervil" Oakpaw said as he collected some borage asnd chervil out of the storage area. Oakpaw looked inside the elders den looking for Redleaf " Redleaf here is some chervil for your bellyache" said Oakpaw as he set down the chervil and went looking for Runningwind.
" Runningwind " called Oakpaw when he got to the nursery "are you there".

Runnningwind poked her head up. "Yes, I'm here Oakpaw. What is it?"

" Oh, hi I just thought you might need some borage" Oakpaw explained while setting the herbs down infront of Runnungwind.

Runningwind purred. "Thank you." she meowed. "And tell Brightcloud that I thank her as well."

" Will do " Oakpaw whispered caputured by how small and fragile the kits were. "Can I touch one " he asked Runningwind.

Runningwind laughed. "Of course! The white and gold one is Roaringkit, and the smoky gray one is Shadowkit. Don't worry they won't bite."

Oakpaw reached out tentively towards Roaringkit thinking well he is bigger than the other one so I probably won't hurt him. " Hey Roaringkit" he whispered to the litle cat.

Breezekit had seen Oakpaw enter the nursery, and heard him ask to see the kits, so she thought that he might want to meet Starkit as well. "Starkit, do you want to go inside now?" She asked, gently pushing her that way with one paw.

Roaringkit opened one eye. Slowly, he got to his feet. Looking at Oakpaw, purred, reared up onto his hind legs, and batted at his nose.


Starkit looked a little disappointed, but nodded. She was tired, and hungry. Slowly, she padded back towards the nursery.

Oakpaw took a step back surprised that something that little could do that. He then whispered to Roaringkit" I can already tell your going to be a great fighter" while he gently batted at Roaringkits ears.

Roaringkit rolled onto his back, and, using his strong hind legs, kicked out at Oakpaw.

Oakpaw pretended to fly through the air. Then jumped up and said " Wow you're good. But(he licked his chest) not as good as me" challenging the little guy.

Roaringkit dropped into a crouch, advancing towards Oakpaw. His ears pricked, he waited to see what Oakpaw would do.

Oakpaw got down to eye-to-eye level with the little guy. He decided since I am bigger and don't really know about kits I'll let him attack.

Roaringkit slowly circled Oakpaw. Suddenly, he sprang out at him, going for Oakpaw's face. However, instead of doing that, at the last moment he dived downwards, sliding under Oakpaw's belly, and started battering it with his legs.

Oakpaw was surprised that the kit knew how to fight so well. Oakpaw jumped away and started advancing on Roring kit then ran around him and tripped him then pertended to slash his thraot. " Told you I'm better" Oakpaw called over his shoulder as he headed out of the nursery.

Roaringkit mewed in frustration. He tried to follow Oakpaw out, but Runningwind quickly took him back. "Thank you Oakpaw!"

" Welcome and thank Brightcloud for you" He called just as he left the nursery. Then he saw Brightkit and a kit he didn't recognize. He went over and meowed " Hi Brightkit, who is this"?

Starkit purred. "Starkit!" she squeaked. It was the only thing she knew how to say.

Starkit wiggled her body with pleasure. "Starkit!" she she squeaked again. "Kit!"

Breezekit decided to try something, and tapped Starkit with one paw. "Starkit." Then, she tapped herself with one paw. "Breezekit?"
