The new director directed I Am Legend. Score! No more shaky fight scenes!

I generally like anything with Will Smith in it. I, Robot was excellent. And Men in Black.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Men in Black: my tenth-favorite movie of all time. The top nine continually change place. Men in Black is the only constant.

That would've been funny and suspicious

Duh duh duhhhhhh!

I totally did not like the camera the whole time. I was thinking, "Hey, don't you guys notice how shaky the camera is?" You can barely concentrate on the movie.

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 2311 comments Mod
Yeah! I saw it in IMAX on the 3rd row and my mom and friend got sick, my friend couldn't even watch half the movie.

message 21: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarah1324) I noticed that too! It was like what were they doing? Running with the camera?!

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 2311 comments Mod
Lol I think so

LEX (lydiapatch) | 1015 comments Mod
Probably. But I guess that was the effect they wanted...?

message 24: by l (new)

l I think they wanted you to feel as if you were part of the action, if you get what I'm saying. I actually thought the camera movements were cool.

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 2311 comments Mod
Yeah but it was just weird

message 26: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarah1324) Oh well, I still loved the movie.

The reason it was so shaky was because of the fight scenes. If you actually saw every detail of the tributes getting murdered, it would have to be rated R. Therefore, they made the camera shaky so you couldn't actually see the tributes getting killed, making it PG-13.

message 28: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarah1324) That is a good point. But even in the Reaping and not even during the Games, it was very shaky.

But, wouldn't it be weird if during the first part of the movie the camera was stable, but during the Games it was shaky? That would be weird, so they did shaky for both parts.

message 30: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarah1324) That is also a good point.
