sorry I had to post this, i think it was one of the best parts:

BARER: I like what Dan has on his Publishers Marketplace profile: the book that makes me miss my subway stop. I think everybody's looking for a book that you can't put down, that you lose yourself in so completely that you forget everything else that's going on in your life and you just want to stay up and you don't care if you're going to be tired in the morning. You just want to keep reading.

Here is a fact on publishing, witch really sucks:
For new authours, you have about a 1 to 1,000 chance of getting published.
For previlsly published, yours is about 1 to 100.
Isn't that bad?

It is only bad if you are not #1 :]

I believe in all of the writers in "The Young Prose Society"...in return, you must believe in yourself.
Remember every no is closer to a yes. And...you can never be published if you do not finish what you write, and send it to a publisher!

There is this website called triond.com ,they pay for and publish ur writing. But some publishing companies don't publish writing that was online so..not so good. But you could try it.

yea,. thats why I don't put any of my writing on line any more.....i wish I could share it with yoy guys though :(

lol, its true that if you get PAYED for doing it online, they probably won't publish it. But you don't get money on goodreads, and you can always take it off if you want to. So, I say keep putting it on goodreads ;D

I am a long way from publishing, I am only on the first chapters, at this rate, it's gonna take years. I need to work on it more.

Aw, not years. You just haven't found the write publisher yet :D


Toli- I don't think I made it, because they put on this site and put it in the magizine depending on how many veiws it got . . . not too many

Hey Jade,

Remember...if you write just one page a day...in a year you will have 360 pages, which is a novel size book :]

When you break it down to pages per day...writing a novel is not that impossible :)
