I'm going to cheat a little bit and start my list now since I am on winter break from school. Hope nobody minds!

Charles | 16 comments Are we supposed to read them in Alphabetical order?

message 5: by Kerri (new)

Kerri | 21 comments Mod
No, you can read them in any order you want!

message 6: by Lauren (new)

Lauren I would recommend by Anna Quindlen (if you're looking for suggestions), it's an amazing book!

Lauren, which Anna Quindlen? I haven't read anything by her yet...

Lauren Sorry Black and Blue...(I see somehow I omitted the title)

Carrie | 25 comments I remember really liking Like Water for Chocolate when I read it in college.

Gina | 3 comments Kerri,

I stole/borrowed some of your ideas. I am really excited about this. I talked to Tressa this morning a bit. Hopefully I can motivate her.

I took ideas from others, too! There are only so many authors whose names start with "X!" I think it seems fun, too!

Now that my classes are over, I'm going to re-evaluate my list to see what I think I can read before Fall classes start. I'm excited to have time to read!

I'm still plugging away at my list! I have Easter Parade and an Alice Munro book from the library (as well as a bunch of other books). I'm going to try to work on the ones I own during the holidays.

Well, with only 1 month left in the year and a stack of books from the library that are not these titles, I'm obviously not going to complete my list. But! I am still working on it.

Sara | 13 comments Hi Kerri,
I am glad someone else is still plugging away at this challenge! How many more do you need to read to complete the A-Z author challenge?

Which Alice Monroe are you reading? Do you have any recommendations from her books? I was going to read one of her books for my "M" but I ended up reading something else instead.

Sounds about like me, I just finished my "Z" author but I have read quite a few duplicates this year.

Sara--I read Munro's The Love of a Good Woman. It was the first collection of hers that I've read. I can't say that I loved it...the hopelessness of the stories was frustrating to me. I need to read 11 more books. I'm hoping to at least get a few more on my list crossed off.

Charlie--I may take my leftovers and start a list for next year.

Carrie | 25 comments I want to do this again, but I might go mad finding another X author! I just have 7/8ths of my final book and a few weeks to get it finished!

Awesome, Carrie! Surely there are other X authors...maybe an author whose first name starts with "X?"

Carrie | 25 comments I'm thinking I might see if I can come up with a A-Z Titles list for 2010.
