I've always loved the interaction of the pack members in these books, particularly Jacob's mini pack and Seth's boundless enthusiasm.

But then I've always had a bit of the bad puppy in my personality as well. If that aspect of the story appealed, may I suggest that you check out The Fallen by Thomas E. Sniegoski. When the protagonist in that starts to understand what his dog is communicating, It's hilarious.

In that book they focused tooooooooo much on jacob the whole middle is about him!. Becasue of that it was a slow read for me but i like the begining and end:)

Some people I know didn't like how SM put Jacob's POV in the book, but I really liked it. I loved when he left the pack!

I also really liked hearing from Leah. She and Jacob actually had a lot in common without knowing it. It gave me a lot of sympathy for Leah. I hope she will imprint on someone some day as well.
