message 113: by Femmenagerie (last edited Jan 26, 2013 03:42PM) (new)

Femmenagerie | 2 comments Hi everyone! Mine's http://www.femmenagerie.com. I try to write about stuff that women will love. However, I was actually thinking of revamping it to be more of a book review site. Does anyone have suggestions how to make more time to read a book faster? Thanks :)

message 114: by Walter (new)

Walter Spence (walterspence) I don't know about making more time, but increasing one's opportunities to read could help. I'm thinking primarily of Amazon's Kindle and Whispersync. For example, I have the Amazon Kindle app on my smartphone. With the Whispersync feature, I can bring up an ebook on the phone and it will offer me the option of forwarding to the last 'page' I read on my regular Kindle.

Being able to take advantage of spare minutes while waiting at the doctor's, pharmacy, to be seated at a restaurant, etc., allows one to squeeze in more reading time, hence one reads more.

message 115: by Femmenagerie (new)

Femmenagerie | 2 comments Hey Walter! Thanks for your great ideas! I should try to practice those :) I also noticed that the Kindle Paperwhite helped me read more often. Maybe it's because it has less bulk? Hehe :p

Sabrina Giles (sabrina-giles) | 1 comments Ensuing Darkness by Alexis Cain

The small town of Maxville, Colorado is harboring more secrets than Kota could imagine. There is a new family in town, one with a cover and dark secrets. They have a mission: Get in, do the job, and get out, but when their youngest get mixed up in a taboo romance, things get nasty.
Kota finds herself surrounded by everything she never knew existed, and the blame is all on her when she puts her friends and family in danger to discover a truth she was never supposed to see.

Book one of my new series “The Dark Chronicles”.

Though it is filled with action, adventure, attraction and suspense, it will leave you grabbing for more.

This book is only the beginning of a much bigger story, the tip of an iceberg the likes of which sunk the Titanic.

My email: alexiscain20@gmail.com

Thank you!

Elle Hill (ellehill) | 6 comments Greetings, purveyors and consumers of fine literature! :)

I'd love to snag blog readers to read my, as the blog claims, "ruminations and fulminations about -isms, animals, and writing." I'm a sociology instructor, an ex-animal rescuer, and a paranormal romance writer, so my posts are kind of scattered, fun, and sometimes outraged and outrageous.

Thanks hugely, and happy spring!

Beth (lbrychic) I'm an avid reader, book lover and Library Technician.

http://lbrychic.blogspot.com
I started my blog many many moons ago but ended up just listed the titles I had been reading so after a few years I switched to Good Reads.

A few months ago, a friend of mine had gotten into book blogging and asked if I had one. I then had the urge to reboot it. So check it out if you'd like.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
